A program that makes the holiday season bright in the Fredericksburg area gets a prestigious national award.
The International Council of Shopping Centers honors the Spotsylvania Towne Centre with a Silver U.S. Maxi Award for "Concert in Lights." The events were held throughout last November and December and featured a computer synchronized concert of holiday music and lights, four times a night.
Hundreds visited the open air show at the Village at Towne Centre. The event will be held again this holiday season.
