MANASSAS, Va. (AP) - Prince William County police say two motorcyclists were killed in separate crashes on the same road over the weekend.
Officer Jonathan Perok, a police spokesman, says the first collision occurred on Joplin Road at Park Headquarters Road in Triangle about 10 a.m. Saturday. Police say the motorcyclist collided with a vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second fatal crash occurred on Joplin Road near Arden Road in Manassas about 7 p.m. Sunday. Police say a motorcycle crashed into a vehicle. Authorities say that motorcyclist also was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of the victims have not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
