Aftershock Rocks Mexico

by Associated Press posted Apr 2 2012 5:43PM
MEXICO CITY (AP) - Mexico has been shaken by a strong apparent aftershock from a powerful earthquake a couple of weeks ago.
In the center of Mexico City, office towers rocked back and forth for several seconds this afternoon. Workers left their buildings and gathered in the street.
The city's mayor says no major damage has been reported by a helicopter crew flying over the city.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports a preliminary magnitude of 6.3. A seismologist says the epicenter was in southern Mexico, very close to the location of a strong quake last month. At least two people were killed then, and hundreds of homes were damaged.
