It's official. Country music superstar Alan Jackson will perform at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20th, in the parking lot of Louisa County High School. A maximum of 6,000 people can attend. They have not set up a process yet for ticket distribution. The announcment is made at a press conference on Thursday afternoon.
Mineral was at the center of the magnitude-5.8 earthquake that rocked much of the East Coast in August.
Against big odds-major metropolitan areas competed,and Mineral came out on top when the voting ended in the Eventful-dot-com competition. The town of fewer than 500 people received more than 31,000.
