Always Use Sunscreen with a High SPF

When you head to the yard, park, pool or beach this spring and summer, stay protected.
Dr. Mark Eid with the Virginia Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center in Fredericksburg says your skin remembers every time it is burned, so always use sunscreen. One with an spf of 30 or above is the best.
Avoiding direct exposure during the hottest times of the day, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. is also smart.
Reaching epidemic proportions, one in five Americans is predicted to develop some sort of skin cancer in their lifetime.
