Even if you're going to the hospital for a routine surgery or an unexpected illness, you could be in danger.
The CDC says nearly four percent of all people get a hospital related infection, in their lungs, stomach, urinary tract or related to the surgery. So, don't be afraid or embarassed to ask your doctors and nurses to wash their hands.
