by Associated Press posted Jun 24 2013 6:27AM
NEW YORK (AP) - What would you pay for a used Apple computer? Try a-half million bucks. An Apple I computer goes up for auction this week. Bidding starts at $300,000, but be prepared to drop a half-mil or more if you're interested. Only about 30 to 50 of the original Apple computers are thought to still exist. Ted Perry, a retired school psychologist, owns the old Apple and has kept it stashed away in a cardboard box. The computer is being sold by Christie's auction house in New York.
