Nearly 100 people were routed from their homes when a fire burned through two Woodbridge apartment buildings last evening.
The fire started in the building at 1395 Eisenhower Circle just before 7 p.m. It then spread to the adjoining structure resulting in a four-alarm fire. The fire was brought under control before 10 p.m.
Of the 25 apartments were damaged, 17 were occupied.
The Red Cross assisted officials in relocating displaced residents into other unoccupied units in the complex or in nearby hotels.
Four people were treated at the scene, three of them were firefighters.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
