I went to Wegmans this past Tuesday morning before work to pick up a few things.  I'd heard about the reorganizing of the store from my WFLS News guy, Frank.  (The picture above is one that Frank took)  I went in and could not believe how many workers were grabbing merchanise and moving everything from one place to another.

I went in to get some bottled water for a trip this weekend and some cereal for my husband.  Be prepared......The water has already been moved.  It's now at the back corner near the eggs area.  The cereal has now been moved up to where I believe the sodas used to be.  I also noticed the toliet paper and paper towels are now in the middle of the store.  It's going to be confusing for a while.  Just when I knew where everything in Wegmans was.  Now I have to learn it all over again.  Hopefully, it's not confusing.  Though, I'm sure it will be nice once everything is complete.

Looks like the reorganizing will take about a week to complete so probably sometime this weekend.

Read about the reorganizing here.

If you're a Nutella fan well here's some bad news.  Turkey, is the world's largest producer of hazelnuts and the bad weather that Turkey has been having is going to end up causing a shortage in hazlenuts.  This is not good at all.  This means the price will go up on hazelnuts and this will be a nuisance for global chocolate-makers, the most vulnerable being Nutella.

Read all about it here.

The other day at Food Lion I used my MVP card at the coupon kiosk at the front of the store.  It printed a bunch of coupons for me.  I also got a recipe that I wanted to share with you.  Miranda Lambert, is currently on tour.  She just had an awesome concert this past Saturday at Jiffy Lube Live.  Miranda's tour is sponsored by Crystal Light so the recipe below is inspired by Miranda.

Okay, so I loved the original Saved by the Bell TV show.  Who didn't love Zack, Kelly, Slater, Jessie, Lisa and Screetch?  It's been rumored for years now that as much as we loved them as an audience that they didn't all love each other or get along.  How can that be?  Well there is a new movie that's airing on Lifetime next month called "The Unauthroized Saved by the Bell Story".  It's a behind the scenes, tell-all movie.  I'm totally gonna be setting the DVR that night so I can watch it later.

Will you be watching?  Here's a sneak peek of the first footage.

"The Unauthroized Saved by the Bell Story" airs on Lifetime at 9am on September 1st.

Okay, so 'as seen on TV' products are not always a win win.  Right?  Well, I actually have one that I bought last week and used this weekend.  It's the Veggetti.  I'm in love with it!!  :)  It's terrific and you can make 'noodles' with it out of your veggies.  No kidding.....pasta is full of carbs and I'm still doing Medifast so I can't have carbs.  But I can have veggie noodles.  :)

What's the best or worst 'as seen on TV' product you've purchased?

Here's my zucchini and squash turned into noodles! :)

I'm a Walking Dead fan.  I love this show and I love me some Daryl (Norman Reedus).  But then again....who doesn't?  Anyways, I can't wait for the return of the show on October 12th.  A new promo trailer was released just a few weeks ago.  It has so much in it that you wished you could watch it now.  Then last week a new trailer came out, and it was in LEGO form.  It was awesome!  It will put a smile on your face.  You have to watch it and see for yourself.  Just click the link below.

What's your favorite drink at Starbucks?  I'm not a coffee drinker so I don't go there that often but I do enjoy the Caramel Apple Spice every now and then.  :)

A few weeks ago, I went to the 1st FXBG Sandwich Invitational at Hurkamp Park.  It was awesome!!!  You can read all about it here.  Paul's Bakery (BEST DONUTS EVER) teamed up with Sprelly and made a SPRONUT for us attendees to try.  Paul's Bakery, has been selling these spronuts in their bakery shop.  You have to go try one and then you can thank me later.  They really are that good.  I hear they sell out fast so get there early.  :)

Have you had a spronut yet?  What do you think?

This past weekend, my husband and I took a day trip to Philadelphia, PA.  We had never been there and we talked about going one day together.  We both had a free weekend with nothing to do.  Plus, it was my birthday weekend so we decided to go.  We had a lot of fun.

We went to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Ben Franklin's Gravesite, Eastern State Penitentiary, Reading Terminal MarketJim's Steaks South Street and Cookie Confidential.

We had a lot of fun and definitely want to visit again and see other things we didn't get a chance to do in one day.

The picture is of my just hanging out in the doorway of a cell at the prison.  I was too tall for it so I had to srunch down a bit.  :)

Beloved Actor/Comedian Robin Williams passed away on Monday, August 11th.  He was 63.  He will surely be missed.  He leaves behind an incredible legacy.

What is your favorite movie role that he played?  You can comment on the WFLS facebook page.

Mine would have to be Mrs. Doubtfire, Hook, The Birdcage, and Patch Adams.

Check out this buzzfeed post with just some of his amazing performances.

RIP Robin Willams.

Happy Farmers Market week!  :)  Yeah it's a thing.

An article posted from the Associated Press this past weekend says that Virginia ranks 9th place in the United States for farmers markets.  The rankings were released by the U.S. Department Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service.  The top 3 are California, New York and Michigan.  Virginia was 9th last year as well.

How often do you visit a local farmers market?  I try to go every weekend.  We have some great markets and farms here that you can visit to buy farm fresh items.

Saturday:  Downtown Fredericksburg at Hurkamp park or Spotsylvania farmers market at the Rt. 3/Gordon road commuter lot.

Sunday:  Stafford Hospital farmers market

Monday-Friday-  Hurkamp park always has some farm vendors in the morning.

Wednesday-  Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center farmers market. (afternoon)

Thursday- Small farmers market at Mayfield off Dixon Street/Rt. 2 (evneing)

Also there's a produce stand at Ferry Road and 218 in Stafford.  It's open every day.

It's so easy to get locally grown, farm fresh produce.

Some farms just off the top of my head......

Millers Farms
Sneads
Braehead Farms
Westmoreland Berry Farm
Mt. Olympus

Last Thursday, after work I walked over to Hurkamp park to the 1st FXBG Sandwich Invitational.  It was awesome and everything was delicious!  Only 250 tickets were available for purchase in advance.  You walked around and sampled sandwiches from local eateries and then voted on your favorite sandwich.  FoodE took home the award for Sandwich King and Sprelly took home the vote for People's Choice.

I hope they do more of these in the future.  It was a lot of fun.

Did you go?  What did you think?

Do you remember the J.C. Penney catalog?  I remember my mom always getting the catalog.  My siblings and I always fought over it because we all wanted to look through it and make a wish list.  My older sister, always circled everything in the catalog that she wanted and we always got annoyed with her for marking in the book.  LOL

Well this will bring back some memories....and you'll see how times have changed.  From pleated pants, to mom jeans, to turtlenecks, windsuits and everything else from the 90's!  :)

Country duo Florida Georgia Line made the list at number 42 with 'Dirt'.

Where has all the time gone?  Is it just me or is this summer flying by?  How can it already be the 1st of August?  Seriously, this summer needs to go by just a little bit slower right?  Before you know it, it will be Christmas again already.  :)
