Bullying Could have Long Term Affects on Kids

by Deirdre Blake posted Feb 17 2014 9:30AM
It's one of the first studies to follow children from grade school to middle school -- and look at the psychological and physical effects of bullying.
Researchers questioned nearly 4,300 children and their parents when the kids were in the 5th, 7th and 10th grades. The lead author at Boston Children's Hospital says it seems to cause anxiety, nervousness, sadness, self-esteem issues and difficulty concentrating. The pain seems to last a lot longer if they're bullied in more than one grade.
