SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: On Jan. 13 at 10:49 p.m., officers responded to Beth Court in Indian Head for the report of a suspicious person. The caller said a male in his teens had been riding his bicycle up and down her driveway and then rang her doorbell for about 30 minutes. When she called police, the male fled but he left his bicycle on the side of her house. Officers checked the house and it did not appear anything was tampered with or stolen. Pfc. C. Collins is investigating.
BURGLARY OF VACANT HOUSE: Between Jan. 6- Jan. 13, unknown suspect(s) broke into a vacant house on Brookside Place in Waldorf and stole copper piping. Officer V. Warker is investigating.
THEFT: Between Jan. 11 – Jan. 12, unknown suspect(s) stole four wheels and a car battery from a vehicle parked in the 2700 block of Old Washington Road in Waldorf. The suspects also shattered the windows of two other cars parked in the lot. Officer R. Walls is investigating.
PATROL OFFICERS CHARGE THREE WITH ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: On Jan. 11 at 8:44 p.m., officers observed two suspicious cars in the 10400 block of O’Donnell Place in Waldorf. As officers investigated further, they found unauthorized Xanax prescription pills inside both vehicles and learned the occupants of the cars were making an illegal drug transaction. Amanda Rachel Glorius, 26, and Whitney Ann Arnold, 26, both of Mechanicsville, were charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. David Lee Norris, 29, of Waldorf was charged with illegal possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Officers V. Warker, J. Morales, and R. Kimble made the arrests.
