On Jan. 7 between 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., a homeowner reported someone broke into his house in the 1000 block of St. Paul’s Drive in Waldorf and stole an iPad, jewelry and clothing. PFC S. Chandler is investigating.
: On Jan. 6 at 8:59 p.m., officers responded to the 11300 block of Golden Eagle Place in Waldorf after a resident observed bullet holes in his house. Officers collected evidence and were told by a witness that gunshots were heard in the area at about 2 a.m. but no one called police. The case does not appear to be random and officers are continuing their investigation. PFC S. Chandler is investigating.
On Jan. 4 between 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., unknown suspect(s) entered a house through an unlocked window in the 11900 block of Montgomery Lane in Waldorf and stole electronics and cash. Cpl. F. Tona is investigating.
Between Jan. 2- Jan. 4, unknown suspect(s) broke into a house in the 3200 block of Guilford Drive in Waldorf and stole a Kindle and a jacket. Officer N. Garner is investigating.
On Jan. 4 between 1:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., unknown suspect(s) broke into a house in the 3500 block of Sugar Maple Court and the 3500 block of Pine Cone Circle in Waldorf and stole electronics and game systems. It appears the cases are related because the houses back up to each other and are separated by a path. Officers J. Hatfield and N. Garner are investigating.
On Jan. 4 at 2:11 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of Old Bailey Court in Waldorf for an intrusion alarm. Investigation showed unknown suspect(s) removed a screen from a back window and also forced open a rear door. The homeowner, who was not home, said it did not appear anyone gained entry and nothing was reported stolen. Officers canvassed the neighborhood and found a witness who saw several males walking toward the house just prior to the activation of the alarm. Cpl C. Campbell is investigating.
