Chips in Cell Phones and Video Games Could Help in Quakes

A tiny chip already used in some smart phones could help us if another earthquake, like the one in Louisa back in 2011, happens again.
The accelerometers that test ground motion area already in iphones and many video games and laptops. They let you adjust what the screen looks like and could create a real-time network to get up to date information during a quake.
