Members of the community have two more weeks to comment on a proposal for the new calendar in Spotsylvania County Schools.
The calendar committee, after overwhelming community response, endorses a plan for a start date after September 3rd. There are two options for a post Labor Day start date and one for an August 26th start.
A School spokeswoman says comments on all three are being accepted at http://spotsylvania.k12.va.us. The School Baord will vote on an option February 11th.
