A crash and fuel spill that happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night closed all three lanes of 95 north in Stafford County for more than six hours.
Police say a Honda CRV lost control at the 138 mile marker, crossing all three lanes, overcorrecting and hitting a tractor trailer in the middle lane. The impact caused the truck to jackknife and its' fuel tank to rupture. Hazmat crews were called to clean up the 150 gallons of gas.
The Honda's driver, Ahmed Mohammed, of Falls Church is charged with reckless driving. He and two passengers were taken to Mary Washington Hospital. The tractor-trailer driver was not hurt.
