Does Your High School Kid Need an Educational Summer Job?

by Deirdre Blake posted Jan 24 2014 9:47AM
Most parents and teens might not be thinking about summer work during this cold snap, but maybe they should.
The Virginia State Parks Youth Conservation Corps is looking for a few good high school students ages 14 to 17 to work on projects at state parks during two three-week sessions this summer. YCC provides room and board, T-shirts and equipment and a 500-dollar stipend at the end of the three weeks. Applications are being accepted through April.
