On the morning of December 26, 2014 at approximately 6:45am, Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the Wendy's restaurant at 5801 Plank Road on a report of a vehicle running into the building. Upon arrival, Deputies encountered the driver of the vehicle, Anthony Evans, 29 of Spotsylvania County. Mr. Evans was traveling west bound on Plank road, when he apparently lost control of his vehicle and careened off the roadway, striking the recently opened establishment. Evans was examined by Spotsylvania County Fire Rescue, while at the scene. Mr. Evans was subsequently arrested for DUI and transported to the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] l Resisting Arrest – On December 24th at 2:27AM, an officer conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle in the 1400 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191). During the encounter, the officer determined the driver, later identified as the accused, was driving while intoxicated. When the officer instructed the accused to exit the vehicle, the accused refused to comply. The officer then attempted to handcuff the accused, at which point the accused struck the officer several times with his hands and fist. The officer then had to use physical force to detain the accused. The accused was subsequently arrested without further incident. During the investigation, the officer also determined that the accused was driving without an operator's license. No injuries were reported.

Malicious Wounding l Domestic Assault & Battery – On December 25th at 12:09AM, officers responded to the 2800 block of Bowes Ln in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic dispute. The victims, a 20 year old female and 24 year old male, both of Woodbridge, reported to police that they were involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, a known acquaintance, which escalated outside of the above referenced location. During the encounter, the male victim was struck multiple times by the accused with her hands, and at one point, the accused scratched the male victim with her nails. When the female victim attempted to intervene, the accused struck her multiple times with her hands and then pressed her nails into the shoulder of the female victim. When police arrived the accused ran inside the residence. The accused was subsequently detained by police and arrested without incident. Minor injuries were reported.

Malicious Wounding l Domestic Assault & Battery – On December 24th at 9:17PM, officers responded to the 1900 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic dispute. The victim, a 36 year old female of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, had a verbal altercation which escalated. During the altercation, the victim attempted to leave the residence, which was located on the second floor of a condominium building. The accused followed the victim outside and when the victim approached the stairwell, the accused pushed victim causing her to fall down a flight of stairs. After the accused pushed the adult female down the stairwell, the accused also attempted to push a second victim, a 14 year female juvenile of Woodbridge, also a known acquaintance, down the stairwell. The juvenile held on to the hand rail and when the accused was not able to push the juvenile down the stairs, he proceeded to hit the juvenile in the head with his hands. When police arrived at the above referenced location the accused was arrested without incident. The adult victim was transported to an area hospital where she was treated and released for minor injuries. No further injuries were reported.

Strangulation l Domestic Assault & Battery – On December 25th at 1:27AM, officers responded to the 14700 block of Arkansas St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic dispute. The victim, a 44 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by throat and strangled her until the victim was able to escape from the hold of the accused. After the encounter, the accused departed from the scene in a vehicle. The accused then returned to the residence while police were on scene. After the accused returned, police determined the accused was driving while intoxicated. The accused was subsequently arrested without incident. Minor injuries were reported.

Strong Armed Robbery l Assault & Battery – On December 23rd at 12:15PM, officers responded to Saks 5th Ave, located at 2300 Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. A loss prevention employee, of the above referenced store, reported to police that an unknown woman, later identified as the accused, concealed items in a bag she was carrying while inside the store, and then exited the without paying for the items she had placed inside the bag. The employee followed the woman outside to the parking lot area of the store, at which time he identified himself as a loss prevention employee and requested that the accused return to the store. The woman followed the employee to the doorway of the store at which point she removed a can of pepper spray from the jacket she was wearing and sprayed the employee in the face. After spraying the employee, the woman fled from the area on foot. The employee was able to retrieve the items from the employee prior to her departure from the store. During the investigation, officers obtained video surveillance that led to the identity of the accused. No injuries were reported.

Residential Burglary – On December 25, 2014 at 4:52PM, officers responded to the 2900 block of Hickory Creek Court in Dumfries (22026) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:30AM and 4:45PM. Entry was made into the garage area of the residence through an open garage door. There were no signs of entry into the residence. A wallet, credit cards and an undisclosed amount of US Currency, valued around $40, were reported as missing.

BURGLARY: On Dec. 24 at 2:50 a.m., officers responded to the 12000 block of Walker Place in Waldorf or the report of suspicious activity. The homeowners heard loud noises from their backyard and could hear someone trying to get inside their house. When officers arrived, they noticed a back window had been shattered and it appeared someone gained entry into the house; however, nothing was reported stolen. Officer G.M. Cook is investigating.
ARMED ROBBERY: On Dec. 23 at 9:56 p.m., two unknown suspects entered the Bryantown Store located at 6435 Leonardtown Road in Bryantown, pulled guns and demanded money. The clerks complied and the suspects fled. No one was injured. Officers and a K9 team canvassed the area and it appeared the suspects fled in a car which was parked nearby. Detective Hemsley is investigating.
BURGLARY: On Dec. 20 at 10:14 a.m., officers responded to the 10500 block of South Faulkner Road in Faulkner for the report of a burglary in progress. When officers arrived, they checked a nearby shed the homeowner thought someone had broken into. No one was in the shed; however, the door had been pried open and several items were stolen. Officer R. McMullen is investigating.

DETECTIVES INVESTIGATING REPORT OF SEXUAL ASSAULT: On Dec. 22 at 8 p.m., a 33-year-old woman was walking home in the area of Matthews Road in Bryans Road when a lone male approached from behind, pulled her into the woods and sexually assaulted her. After the assault, the suspect fled and the victim notified police. The suspect is described as a black male, between 25 to 30 years-old, 5'8", medium build, short black hair, thin beard and no moustache. He was wearing a black jacket and white pants. LARCENY:
Two Times New, 2028 Plank Rd, 11/25 – 12/22 7:00 p.m. A vendor reported that an unknown
person stole a number of items from a locked case in her booth. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
Guitar Potential, 2105 Idlewild Blvd, 12/22 7:00 p.m. An employee reported that a quantity of
cash was stolen from his wallet by a male subject who came into the store and asked to use the
phone. The investigation is ongoing.
ARRESTS:
Ronald Harvey Johnson, 50, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a direct indictment charging him
with indecent exposure.
Tamika Dent, 27, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
John Blue, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested on warrants from Stafford County charging him
with violation of a protective order and making threats of bodily harm.
Robert Fauntleroy, 48, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of trespassing.
Roger Kile, 21, of Stafford was arrested on a charge of possession of heroin.

THEFT: On Dec. 23 at 3 a.m., Sgt. S. Fetterolf was conducting a patrol check in the 9700 block of Leighland Court in Waldorf when he observed a Chevrolet Suburban resting on landscaping bricks. The passenger side wheels were missing and the driver's side wheels had been loosened and were dislodged from the vehicle. Officers canvassed the area and processed the scene for evidence.
BURGLARY: On Dec. 21 between 6:50 p.m. and 8 p.m., unknown suspect(s) broke into a house in the 4600 block of Temple Court in Waldorf and stole jewelry, gift cards and electronics. PFC P. Morgan, III is investigating.
OFFICERS LOCATE SUSPECTS INVOLVED IN VANDALISM: On Dec. 17 at 12:20 a.m., officers responded to the 11900 block of Acton Lane in Waldorf for the report of two males spray painting graffiti on a trailer parked behind a business. The caller provided a description of the suspects and advised they fled on foot towards a liquor store. Officers checked the area and located two males who had a backpack that contained multiple cans of black and white spray paint and several sharpie and paint pens. Charges are pending. Officer G. Cook is investigating.

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On December 22nd at 12:51PM, officers responded to the Burke and Herbert Bank located at 14008 Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the bank and approached the teller counter. Once at the counter, the man pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing to the rear of the bank. Upon reviewing surveillance footage, the suspect was seen getting into a vehicle and leaving the area towards an unknown direction. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

Black male, between 25 & 30 years of age, 5'11", 165lbs with a thin build
Last seen wearing a black wool jacket with buttons, black ski mask and black pants

Residential Burglary – On December 22nd at 9:56AM, officers responded to a residence under construction located in the 17100 block of Gullwing Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. Construction crews reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on December 19th and 6:00AM on December 22nd. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. A shower door and light fixture was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On December 21st at 12:18AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14700 block of Barksdale St in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she was on an upper floor of the residence when a noise was heard coming from a lower floor. Upon checking the residence, the homeowner heard footsteps. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear sliding glass door which was broken out. No suspect was seen and no property was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On December 22nd at 7:53PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12100 block of Puddle Pl in Bristow (20136) to investigate an alarm activation. Officers arrived at the home and discovered a rear sliding glass door was broken out. A search of the residence was completed and no suspect(s) was located. No property was reported missing. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect(s).

MONDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2014
SHOOTING OFFENSE:
500 block Dunmore St, 12/21 11:45 p.m. A 55 year-old resident reported that he heard a loud
pop, then a short time later the sound of glass shattering. The victim discovered that his patio
door glass was broken and he called 911. The investigating officer found two holes all the way
through a kitchen cabinet and a spent bullet on the floor inside the home. Tracing the source of
the round to a home across the street from the victim, the officer interviewed and arrested Tony
Guadamuz, 22, of Fredericksburg on charges of reckless handling of a firearm and shooting into
an occupied dwelling. The weapon was collected from the residence of the offender and stored
for evidence. Guadamuz was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under a $7500
bond.
BURGLARY:
615 Princess Anne St, 12/21 4:45 a.m. An officer patrolling in the area of the old General
District Court construction site stopped to check a pickup truck that had copper pipe protruding
from the bed. The officer also noticed that the gate securing the construction site had been
forced, and there were large amounts of tools in the back of the truck as well. While checking
the truck, a male subject approached the officer claiming he had been assaulted and his truck
stolen. Evidence found at the scene did not support this story. Coston Cheatham, 21, of
Spotsylvania was arrested on charges of burglary, grand larceny, felony vandalism, and
trespassing. Cheatham was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
Townsend Square Apartments, 1100 Townsend Blvd, 12/18 – 12/19 7:00 a.m. An employee
reported that an unknown person broke in to the office and stole a safe and other items of value.
The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
2700 block Cowan Blvd, 12/9 – 12/19 3:30 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
stole a license plate from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
300 block Prince Edward St, 12/19 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. A commuter reported that an unknown
person stole a license plate from his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 12/19 6:00 p.m. A shopper reported that an unknown person
stole her purse and a shopping bag from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Wawa, 2390 Plank Rd, 12/19 8:30 p.m. A customer reported that an unknown person stole her
purse from her unlocked vehicle at the gas pumps. No suspects or witnesses at this time.DUI ARRESTS:
Norma Maxey, 60, of Bowling Green was arrested on a charge of DUID in the 3300 block of
Fall Hill Avenue.
Rodney Webb, 55, of Spotsylvania was arrested on charges of DUI and driving while revoked in
the 1600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.
Sherard McLaurin, 51, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of DUI in the 200 block of
Caroline Street.
Isaiah Patxot, 18, of Ruther Glen was arrested on charges of DUI and underage possession of
alcohol in the 1700 block of Carl D Silver Parkway.
ARRESTS:
Sha-Kim Armstead, 23, of Stafford was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Armstead was released on a summons.
Jessica Beasley, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a charge of shoplifting. Beasley was
released on a summons.
Lateara Cabarris, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of embezzlement. Cabarris was
released on a summons.
Cameron Boxley, 25, of King George was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Boxley was released on a summons.
Jordan Johnson, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Caroline County charging
her with grand larceny.
Orville Penley, 50, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of possession of stolen property
and on a warrant from Pittsylvania County charging him with failure to appear in court.
Antonio Jett, 31, of Fredericksburg was arrested on charges of possession of a schedule I,II
narcotic and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
Francisco Trejo, 51, of Arlington was arrested on charges of public intoxication and abuse of the
911 system.
William Hamm, 29, of Fredericksburg was arrested on warrants from Spotsylvania charging him
with domestic assault and battery, destruction of property, vehicle tampering, and breaking and
entering.
Bailey Smith, 19, of Woodford was arrested on charges of public intoxication and underage
possession of alcohol.
Amanda Field, 31, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of shoplifting. Field was released
on a summons.
Tony Sprouse, 46, of no fixed address was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

**INCIDENTS**

Shooting Investigation – On December 20th at 5:37AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15500 block of Winding Creek Dr in Dumfries to assist the Department of Fire and Rescue with an injury which was initially reported as being caused by a firework. Upon further evaluation, rescue personnel determined that the injury was actually a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital where the injury was determined to be non-life threatening. The investigation revealed that victim, a 24 year old man of Dumfries, was involved in a physical altercation in the parking lot of the Center Plaza Shopping Center located in the 4300 block of Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) around 2:00AM. During that altercation, the victim was shot. This incident was not reported to police until rescue personnel arrived at the home later in the morning. Officers checked the shopping center and were able to locate a crime scene. Detectives are continuing the investigation to determine the identity of the suspect involved. No arrests have been made. At this time, detectives believe this incident was not a random occurrence. The investigation continues.

Malicious Wounding – On December 20th at 8:25AM, officers responded to the Exxon Service Station located at 14451 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 52 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was getting gas at one of the pumps when he was approached by an unknown man. The man became agitated and began assaulting the victim. After the assault, the suspect fled the area in a vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital with a significant head injury. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 40 & 50 years of age, 6'0", 180lbs with a medium build, medium complexion, short black hair and a mustache

Armed Robbery – On December 22nd at 1:54AM, officers responded to the 7-11 Convenience Store located at 13050 Nokesville Rd in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the store and approached the counter. Once at the counter, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Male, possibly Hispanic, between 20 & 30 years of age, 5'10", 240lbs with a heavy build
Last seen wearing a white & black jacket, gray sweatpants, brown boot, black cap and a blue bandana covering his face

Armed Robbery – On December 20th at 11:08PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred at the Featherstone Sq Laundromat located at 14573 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) on December 19th around 5:30PM. The victim, a 27 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she exited the Laundromat and was walking to her vehicle when she was approached from behind by an unknown man. The man pressed a hard object, believed to be a handgun, against the victim's back and demanded her purse. The man took the purse and ran to a nearby awaiting vehicle. The victim followed the vehicle for a short distance until he suspect jumped out of the passenger side of the vehicle and fled on foot. The driver of the vehicle continued and was not seen. No injuries were reported.
Suspect Description:

Strong Armed Robbery – On December 20th at 11:05PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 14100 block of Cove Landing Dr in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that morning around 1:30AM. The victim, a 33 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she had just parked her vehicle and was walking to her residence when she was approached from behind by an unknown man and pushed to the ground. Once on the ground, the suspect assaulted the victim and took money from her purse before fleeing on foot. Minor injuries were reported. The victim was unable to describe the assailant to officers.

Strong Armed Robbery – On December 20th at 4:15PM, officers responded to the 16800 block of Capon Tree Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victims, a 16 year old male juvenile and a 15 year old male juvenile – both of Woodbridge, reported to police that they were walking in the above area when they were confronted by a group of other male juveniles. During the encounter, both victims were assaulted and a watch was taken. The suspects are known to the victims. Minor injuries were reported. The investigation continues.


Commercial Burglary – On December 22nd at 2:05AM, officers responded to Vocelli's Pizza located at 16693 River Ridge Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an alarm activation. Officers arrived at the business and discovered a front glass door was broken out. A search of the business was completed and no property was reported missing. Video surveillance was reviewed and showed two suspects enter the business and attempted to access a safe and cash register. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects.

Residential Burglary – On December 21st at 10:00PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 19000 block of Fuller Heights Rd in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00PM and 9:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment. Entry is believed to have been made into the home through an unlocked door. A TV and DVD player were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On December 19th at 10:17PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15200 block of Brazil Cir in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:45AM and 10:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. A TV, gaming console and purse were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On December 19th at 6:35PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 6100 block of Popes Creek Pl in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on December 14th and 5:30PM on December 19th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured window. A cell phone and gaming console were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On December 19th at 12:59PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13400 block of Colesmire Gate Way in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:45AM and 12:38PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear sliding glass door which was broken out. An iPad, jewelry and other property were reported missing.


Attempted Residential Burglary – On December 21st at 5:02AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12800 block of Hunterbrook Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she heard a noise coming from an upper floor of the home. Upon checking the residence, the homeowner discovered a air conditioning window unit had been disturbed. The suspect, who was not seen, is believed to have used a ladder to access the window. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect(s).

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Shooting Investigation – On December 19th at 10:02PM, officers responded to the 10100 block of Portsmouth Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shooting. Police initially received multiple reports of shots fired in the above area but did not locate the parties involved. While on scene investigating, four individuals arrived at an area hospital, three of which were suffering from gunshot related injuries. Two of the victims, a 27 year old man of Warrenton and a 49 year old woman of Manassas, were both flown to a trauma center for further evaluation. The 27 year old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body and remains hospitalized in critical condition. The 49 year old woman was treated for a non-life threatening wound to her head and was released. The third victim, a 17 year old male juvenile of Manassas, sustained a minor gunshot wound to his knee and was also treated and released. The investigation revealed that the fourth individual, identified as a 32 year old man of no fixed address, arrived in the above area accompanied by the three victims. A physical altercation ensued between this man and the accused outside of the apartment complex. Following the encounter, the man returned to his vehicle with the three victims. Before they could leave the complex parking lot, the accused went to his residence and retrieved a rifle. At that point, the accused exited the building and began firing towards the vehicle. All parties left the area separately before officers arrived. The victims were taken to an area hospital where police were contacted. The suspect eventually turned himself into police early the next morning without incident. This incident was not random and stemmed from a previous verbal altercation between the parties involved who were known to one another.

Armed Robbery | Residential Burglary | Domestic Assault & Battery – On December 21st at 2:03AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4000 block of Chetham Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary in progress. The victim, a 35 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, was in violation of a protective order and entered her residence through an unlocked window. Once inside the residence, the accused implied he had a gun and threatened the victim. At one point, the accused grabbed the victim's cell phone from her hands and fled the home. Officers set up a perimeter around the home and a police K-9 was used to search for the suspect. The accused was not located and warrants were obtained. At 5:06AM, officers responded back to the residence when the accused was observed on the roof of the home and attempting to enter the residence a second time. No entry was made and the accused fled the area. A police K-9 was also used following this incident and additional warrants were obtained after the accused was not located. At 7:45AM, the accused returned to the home a third time. The victim stated she woke to the sound of loud noises coming from a lower level floor. Upon checking the home, the accused was discovered coming up the stairs towards her. A verbal altercation ensued and the suspect fled the home before officers arrived. A police K-9 and helicopter were used to search for the suspect. At one point, information was received that the accused was possibly in the Yorkshire area of Manassas. The area was checked and following an extensive search, the suspect was not located. While investigating, additional information was provided that the accused was near Woodbridge High School. When officers arrived, a vehicle believed to be occupied by the accused was seen leaving the parking lot. Officers stopped the vehicle on Oakwood Dr where the accused was arrested.

Burglary with Intent to Commit Assault – On December 17th at 4:55PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7800 block of Tayloe Dr in Manassas (20112) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 28 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she answered a knock at her front door around 8:30AM and was confronted by the accused, a known acquaintance. During the encounter, the accused allegedly assaulted the victim and forcibly entered the home. After the assault, the accused left the residence and the victim contacted police later in that afternoon. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested on December 18th.

Strong Armed Robbery | Possession of Burglarious Tools – On December 17th at 1:38PM, officers responded to the Abercrombie and Fitch in Potomac Mills Mall located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shoplifting. Officers arrived at the business and were informed by employees with loss prevention that two men entered the store, took a pair of pair of jeans and exited the store without paying. As the employees went to detain the suspects, one of the men, identified as David DASWELL, resisted the employees and threatened to use mace against them. No injuries were reported and mace was never used. The suspect was eventually detained following a brief struggle. During a search of the suspect, items used to conceal merchandise were recovered. The other man, identified as Derrick WHITFIELD, never resisted and was detained without incident. Following the investigation, both men were arrested.

Strong Armed Robbery – On December 20th at 8:35PM, officers responded to the Osh Kosh in Potomac Mills Mall located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shoplifting. Officers arrived at the business and were informed by an employee that a woman entered the store, selected numerous clothing items and placed them in a large bag. As the employee confronted the suspect, she began to walk quickly towards the exit. The employee attempted to grab the merchandise back from the suspect and was struck in the face. Minor injuries were reported. The woman was eventually detained and, during the investigation, provided a false identity to police. The suspect was subsequently identified as the accused. During a search of the accused, marijuana was recovered. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Commercial Burglaries – On December 22nd at 3:59AM, officers responded to the Tropical Smoothie Café located at 2966 Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an alarm activation. Officers arrived at the business and located a front glass door which was broken out. A delivery driver witnessed the incident and provided officers with a description of the suspect vehicle. A responding officer attempted to stop a vehicle matching the description in the area of Montgomery Ave and Opitz Blvd. The driver failed to stop and continued to Balsam St where the four occupants fled on foot. Officers located and arrested three of the suspects without incident. The fourth suspect, Akeem WILLIAMS, was later identified and determined to be the driver of the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, officers located a cash register belonging to the business. Detectives also linked these suspects to a burglary reported at the Tipicos Dona Juanita Restaurant located at 13199 Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22191) which occurred around 3:32AM. When officers arrived at that business, the front glass door was smashed out. No property was reported missing. The WILLIAMS suspect was later located and arrested without further incident.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2014
SHOOTING:
Handy Mart, 3054 Plank Rd, 12/17 5:30 p.m. A 21-year-old Bowling Green resident reported
that he and a cousin were driving through the parking lot of the Spotsylvania Towne Center
when they exchanged words with another male who was standing next to a white vehicle. The
victim and his cousin left the mall and stopped for fuel at the Handy Mart, and they saw the man
again in the white car parked nearby. When the victim exited the business he once again
exchanged words with the other man, who then pulled out a handgun and shot the victim in the
leg. The suspect then fled from the scene in the white vehicle. The victim's cousin drove him to
the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center and authorities there contacted police. The suspect
was described as an 18-20 year old black male with short dreadlocks wearing a red shirt and a
dark colored ball cap. He was accompanied by a light skinned black or Hispanic female and
another black male with longer dreadlocks, both of whom are described to be in their late teens
or early 20's. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
James Monroe High School, 2300 Washington Ave, 12/17 8:00 a.m. – 9:40 a.m. A teacher
reported that an unknown person stole her cell phone from her desk. The investigation is
ongoing.
300 block Hunter St, 11/7 – 12/17 3:30 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole
her iPod from her home. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
ARRESTS:
Lori Taylor, 37, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of a schedule IV narcotic and on
warrants from Spotsylvania charging her with possession of schedule I,II narcotics as well as
from Henrico County charging her with failure to appear in court.
Shauntay Ross, 25, of Fredericksburg was arrested on warrant from Essex County charging her
with contempt of court.
Michael Morey, 22, of Locust Grove was arrested on a charge of shoplifting. Morey was
released on a summons.
Tina Bernal, 29, of Ruther Glen was arrested on a charge of shoplifting. Bernal was released on
a summons.
Matthew Childers, 43, of King George was arrested on a charge of felony shoplifting from Home
Depot.

**INCIDENTS**

Residential Burglary – On December 16th at 8:36PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12700 block of Rockwood Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on December 15th and 4:00PM on December 16th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into a detached shed on the property. There were no signs of forced entry into the shed. Entry was made through an unsecured door. Lawn equipment was reported missing.

Commercial Burglary – On December 15th at 7:41AM, officers responded to an apartment complex under construction located in the 2200 block of York Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The property owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:00PM on December 14th and 7:00AM on December 16th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into two separate storage units on the property after the doors were pried open. Several rolls of copper wiring were reported missing.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On December 16th at 3:20PM, a Prince William County police officer stopped a man in the median area on Dale Blvd near Gideon Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for suspected panhandling. During the encounter, the man provided the officer with a false identity and began to flee on foot. The officer attempted to stop the man and was assaulted. The suspect continued to flee and, at one point, stopped and reengaged the officer. The suspect assaulted the officer a second time before continuing to flee into a wooded area where officers lost sight of him. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect. During the investigation, officers were able identity the suspect as the accused and further learned that he was actively being sought on multiple warrants. On December 17th, officers conducted another search of the wooded area on Dale Blvd near I-95 for the accused. After an extensive search, the accused was located in a tent and arrested without further incident.

ROBBERY:
7- Eleven, 905 Lafayette Blvd, 12/17 4:45 a.m. A cab driver reported that he was parked in the
lot when a male subject approached his driver's side window and asked him if he was available
for a fare. When the driver said yes, the suspect reached in through the window and pointed a
handgun at the driver, demanding his cash and cell phone. The driver complied and the suspect
fled from the area on foot. The driver then ran inside the 7-Eleven and called 911. The suspect
was described as a tall black male over 6'2", approximately 250 pounds, and in his early to mid-
30's. He was clean shaven and was wearing a white sweatshirt with a gray hood pulled over his
head, dark gray shorts, and white shoes. Multiple officers, including a K-9 unit called to the
scene, searched the area extensively but were unable to locate the suspect. The investigation is
ongoing.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT:
800 Forest Village, 12/16 9:30 p.m. A 19-year-old female reported that she was assaulted by
four other females in the parking lot, one of whom was armed with a knife. The fight reportedly
stemmed from a dispute over the purchase of a cell phone. The suspects have been identified
and the investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
200 block Wilderness Ln, 12/13 – 12/16 8:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
stole a firearm and computer tablet from his unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
ARRESTS:
Raymond Morgan, 34, of Stafford was arrested on a charge of shoplifting.
Maria Rojas, 27, of Springfield was arrested on a warrant from Fairfax charging her with
possession of narcotics.
Jody Scobie, 43, of Springfield was arrested on a charge of providing false identification to law
enforcement to avoid arrest and on multiple warrants from Shenandoah and Rockingham
Counties charging him with probation violation.
Daniel Runnels, 31, of Fredericksburg was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and
possession of stolen property and on warrants from Stafford County charging him with forgery,
possession of stolen property, identity theft, and other charges.
Bruce Courtney, 55, of Bowling Green was arrested on warrants from the Virginia State Police
charging him with multiple counts of distribution of schedule I,II narcotics and possession of a
firearm while distributing narcotics.
Markieth Hunter, 49, of King George was arrested on a charge ofh possession of schedule I,II
narcotics.

CRIME SOLVERS OFFERING CASH REWARD FOR ROBBERY SUSPECTS' IDENTITIES: Charles County sheriff's detectives are seeking the identities of two men who robbed a jewelry store. Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects. On Dec. 9 at 10:13 a.m., a man entered a jewelry store at 3227 Crain Highway in Waldorf, brandished a handgun and ordered an employee to the floor. A second masked suspect entered the business and both suspects ransacked the jewelry cases. The suspects fled in a green 1996-1999 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight sedan.

Through investigation, detectives linked the suspects to two prior attempted burglaries at two different pawn shops. A surveillance camera captured images of the suspects and their car (see attached photos). The armed suspect was described as a black male, dark skin, 20 to 30 years old, eye glasses, 5'9" to 5'10", thin build, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black knit cap with white trim, and dark brown boots. The second suspect was described as a black male, light skin, mid twenties, 5'10", stocky build, wearing a black mask, and a black jacket. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. A. MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: On Dec. 14 at 3:11 a.m., officers were conducting an investigation at a business in the 3000 block of Old Washington Road in Waldorf when they heard a loud noise and someone yelling. Officers responded to the area and observed a man with bloody hands standing outside of another building. Investigation showed the subject, Joseph Robert McCabe, 23, of Ft. Washington, had attempted to break into the business and had smashed three windows. McCabe was charged with attempt burglary. PFC D. Walker investigated.

DETECTIVES ARREST SUSPECT CONNECTED TO MULTIPLE BURGLARIES: Charles County sheriff's detectives have charged Craig Steven Hughes, Jr., 34, of Newburg in connection with multiple burglaries of businesses throughout the county since June 2014. Detectives served a search warrant at Hughes' residence on Dec. 11 and recovered evidence linking him to more than a dozen cases. Hughes was charged with burglary. Det. E. Weaver is continuing the investigations.

MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: On Dec. 10 at 11:36 a.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of Aubrey Manor Court in Waldorf for the report of a suspicious person walking in between homes. Officer H. Burgess and Officer E. Caballero arrived and observed a man fitting the suspect's description at the bottom of a stairwell of a nearby house. Officers observed pry marks on the basement door and found a knife on the man. Detectives investigated further and linked the man to a burglary in the same neighborhood that occurred on Nov. 21. Devonte Marquis Patterson, 18, of Waldorf was charged with burglary and attempted burglary. Det. J. Morales investigated.

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robberies – On December 15th at 2:57PM, officers responded to the 10700 block of Sudley Manor Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 62 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was a cab driver and had picked up a fare at the Wal-Mart located in Manassas Mall. After picking up the suspect, the victim drove him to the above area. Once stopped, the suspect pulled out a knife and took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim before fleeing on foot. Early the next morning on December 16th at 3:21AM, officers responded to the area of Vernon St and Tower Pl in Manassas (20109) to investigate another robbery involving a cab driver. The victim, a 48 year old man of Fort Royal, reported to police that he picked up a fare and drove to the above area where the suspect displayed a knife and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money. Following the incident, the suspect fled on foot. No injuries were reported in either incident. A police K-9 was also used in the December 16th incident to search for the suspect. Both incidents are believed to be related to one another, as well as, two other similar robberies reported on December 14th. The suspect in all reported incidents matched similar descriptions provided by the victims in those cases.

Entry was made into an open door to an attached garage. The homeowner's motorcycle was reported as stolen.

Residential Burglary – On December 13th at 5:47PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8200 block of Vermont Pl in Manassas (20111) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a basement level door which was forced open. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On December 15th at 9:14PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10400 block of Wharfdale Pl in Gainesville (20155) to investigate an alarm activation. Officers checked the residence and discovered an unsecured window. The window screen also appeared to have been removed. No entry is believed to have been made into the home and no property was reported missing.

smashed a window on his vehicle and stole two deposit bags full of cash and other items of value
from inside the car. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
Old Mill Park, 2200 Caroline St, 12/14 – 12/15 7:00 a.m. A city employee reported that an
unknown person damaged the landscaping around the entrance to the park. The investigation is
ongoing.
2000 block Hilton Dr, 12/14 – 12/15 9:30 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
scratched and damaged his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ROBBERY:
Gulf Station, 2120 Plank Rd, 12/12 8:20 p.m. The owner reported that he was behind the
counter when two men entered the store and pointed guns at him while demanding money from
the register. The owner complied, and one of the suspects grabbed a quantity of cash. Both
suspects then ran from the store. One suspect was described as a black male wearing all black
clothing and a black mask over his face, and the second suspect was described as a male of
unknown race wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie, and a black and white mask. Both men carried
handguns. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
2500 block Manor Dr, 12/11 – 12/12 7:30 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole
a camera from his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
200 block Brighton Cir, 12/12 3:45 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole the

**INCIDENTS**

Malicious Wounding – On December 14th at 9:55PM, officers responded to the Quantico Court Apartments located in the 19000 block of Fuller Heights Rd in Triangle (22172) for a report of an unconscious man. A caller reported to police that they had witnessed an alteration between two individuals in the above area. During the encounter, the caller reportedly heard a loud noise and one of the parties flee in a white SUV. The other party, identified as a 28 year old man of Triangle, remained in the area and had sustained injuries to his upper body believed to have been caused by a blunt object. When the caller notified police, the individual left the immediate area before officers arrived. Officers eventually located the man in a nearby apartment. The man was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. This incident was not random. The investigation continues.

Armed Robbery | Residential Burglary – On December 13th at 1:07AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 18400 block of Old Triangle Rd in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner, a 42 year old man, reported to police that he was inside his residence when he heard a knock at his door. Upon answering, two unknown men forcibly entered the apartment armed with shotguns. Once inside, the men took two wallets, a phone and other property from the homeowner and two other occupants of the residence. At one point, one of the occupants was struck in the face with a shotgun. Following the encounter, the men fled the apartment. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects.
Suspect Descriptions:
Both suspects were described as black males, between 17 & 24 years of age, around 5'8", approximately 135lbs with thin builds and medium complexions

Armed Robberies – On December 14th at 1:24PM, officers responded to the area of Notre Dame St and Hiram Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 46 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was a cab driver and had picked up a fare at the Costco in Manassas. After picking up the suspect, the victim drove him to the above area. Once stopped, the suspect pulled out a knife and took an undisclosed amount of money and a cell phone from the victim before fleeing on foot. Later in the evening at 6:13PM, officers responded to the area of Blendia Ln and Ashton Ave in Manassas (20109) to investigate another robbery involving a cab driver. The victim, a 43 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he picked up a fare and drove to the above area where the suspect displayed a knife and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money. Following the incident, the suspect fled on foot. No injuries were reported in either incident. A police K-9 was also used in both robberies to search for the suspect. These incidents are believed to be related and possibly involve the same suspect who matched similar descriptions provided by the victims in both cases.

Armed Robbery – On December 12th at 11:02PM, officers responded to the 1600 block of Fort Fisher Ct in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 25 year old man of Fredericksburg, reported to police that he was making a pizza delivery to a residence in the above area. While in the area, the victim was approached by an unknown man who displayed a handgun and took the victim's wallet. A second suspect was also heard but not seen by the victim. No injuries were reported. Following the encounter, the men fled the area on foot. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects.

Black male, between 16 & 20 years of age, 5'10", 140lbs with a thin build

Residential Burglary – On December 14th at 10:22PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3500 block of Castle Hill Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00PM on December 13th and 10:22PM on December 14th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a window which was broken out. A TV and cell phone were reported missing.

Burglary to a Church – On December 10th at 8:28AM, officers responded to the Concordia Lutheran Church located at 3637 Graham Park Rd in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00PM on December 9th and 8:10AM on December 10th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the church shed on the property through a side window which was removed. A guitar was reported missing.

During the encounter, the accused retrieved a wood object from the kitchen counter and struck the victim in the head causing a significant laceration. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

Residential Burglary – On December 11th at 7:30PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 18300 block of Woodland Dr in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30AM and 6:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Attempted Residential Burglary – On December 11th at 11:16PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3500 block of Lions Field Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 2:00PM and 4:00PM on December 10th, entry was attempted into the residence through a front door which was found damaged. No entry was gained into the home and no property was reported missing.

VANDALISM:
Auto Direct, 2504 Princess Anne St, 12/10 – 12/11 1:00 p.m. The manager reported that an

DETECTIVES LOCATE HEROIN AND OTHER DRUGS AT TATTOO SHOP: On Dec. 5 at 4:46 p.m., officers assigned to the CCSO Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at Aces High Tattoo Parlor in the 11700 block of Central Avenue in Waldorf after receiving information about drug sales at the shop. Through further investigation, detectives found $6,000 of suspected heroin, $1,200 worth of suspected marijuana, prescription medications, drug distribution paraphernalia, and a 12 gauge shotgun. Tyrone Lavell Bonds, 26, of Waldorf (an employee of Aces) and an acquaintance, Charles Leon Douglas, 45, of North Carolina, were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute drugs. On December 9, 2014, the Caroline County Sheriff's Office received a complaint for inappropriate conduct of an adult against a juvenile. Investigator Kristel DiGravio obtained a warrant on Bruce Jay Levy, 52 of Ruther Glen, is charged with Indecent Liberties of a juvenile, while acting in a custodial role. This offense is punishable as a Class 6 felony. Two patrol deputies and four investigators executed a search warrant on Levy's residence yesterday. Levy is being held in the Pamunkey Regional Jail without bond. Since this is an ongoing investigation which involves a juvenile, no further information will be released.

Displaying Marroquin Manzano, Armando.jpgArmed Robbery *ARRESTS – On December 10th, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified and arrested two of the suspects involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 1500 block of Randall Ct in Woodbridge on November 27th. The investigation revealed that both females knowingly setup the incident as a robbery under the guise of a cell phone purchase. Through the investigation, detectives identified the armed male suspect and the initial female suspect that contacted the victim. Both suspects were arrested without incident on December 10th. Detectives are continuing the investigation to identify and arrest the remaining suspect.

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On November 27th at 12:32AM, officers responded to the 1500 block of Randall Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 21 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he made arrangements over Facebook to meet with two unknown women in the above area to sell a cell phone. Once in the area, the victim met with the women in front of a residence. During the encounter, an unknown man approached the group and pulled out a handgun, demanding the victim's phone. The man took the phone before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported.

The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear sliding glass door which was pried open. A TV was reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Filing a False Police Report | Narcotics Investigation – On December 10th at 3:14PM, officers responded to 18000 block of Graham Park Dr in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate an initial report of a robbery. The victim, later identified as Heather TAYLOR, reported to police that she was robbed by the accused after making arrangements to sell him prescription medications in the above area. The suspect, identified as Stephan ABROMAVICH, was quickly located by responding officers and detained without further incident. Through the investigation, detectives from the Robbery Unit determined that TAYLOR lied about the robbery and also in a written statement provided to police. The investigation revealed that the arrangement to conduct the transaction was setup by TAYLOR. During the encounter, ABROMAVICH, was given the prescription medications and failed to pay the amount agreed upon which prompted TAYLOR to report the robbery. Three other occupants with TAYLOR were also determined to be wanted out of other jurisdictions for unrelated offenses. Following the investigation, all parties involved in the incident were arrested.

SEARCH WARRANTS EXECUTED

Stafford, Va. The Stafford County Sheriff's Office is reporting the arrest of Joshua Wallace, age 39, currently incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail, Bradford Burchett, age 37 of 943 Ficklin Drive, Stafford and Mariah Harrington, age 44, of 943 Ficklin Drive, Stafford. These individuals have been charged with 1 Count of Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Act, 2 Counts of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 2 Counts of Manufacturing Methamphetamine With a Juvenile Present and 2 Counts of Possession of a Precursor Chemical for the Manufacturing of Methamphetamine. Also arrested was John Stephens, age 34, of 209 Walnut Drive, Stafford. He has been charged with 1 Count of Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Act, 1 Count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1 Count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine With a Juvenile Present and 1 Count of Possession of a Precursor Chemical for the Manufacturing of Methamphetamine. Constance Hysell, age 25, of 44 Willann Lane, Spotsylvania has also been arrested and is charged with 1 Count of Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Act and 2 Counts of Manufacturing Methamphetamine. All individuals are currently incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond. Lisa Snyder, age 31, of 209 Walnut Drive, Stafford has been charged with 1 Count of Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Act, 1 Count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1 Count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine With a Juvenile Present and 1 Count of Possession of a Precursor Chemical for the Manufacturing of Methamphetamine. Snyder is currently a fugitive and being sought by the Stafford County Sheriff's Office with the assistance of the United States Marshals Service.

On Saturday, October 18, 2014 deputies responded to a call for a shooting on the 200 block of Walnut Drive. In that incident a man was charged with Aggravated Malicious Wounding for shooting another man, after having a verbal argument with the victim. Stafford detectives executed a search warrant at the residence on Walnut Drive where the shooting occurred. Stafford detectives discovered remnants of chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine. As a result of the ongoing investigation of the shooting incident, Stafford detectives uncovered information that led to the search warrant being executed at a residence on Ficklen Road on October 22, 2014. Material consistent with the production of methamphetamine was located at the Ficklen Road address. As a result of that search warrant and the ongoing investigation, members of the Special Investigation Unit carried out search and arrest warrants at 943 Ficklin Drive, 209 Walnut Drive (both in Stafford County) and the Willann address in Spotsylvania County this morning, December 11, 2014.

In all three locations, no one in the affected neighborhoods was in any danger as a result of the materials discovered during the execution of the search warrants and arrests.

The Special Investigations Unit, the Special Problems Unit and members of the Patrol Division participated
in the execution of the search and arrest warrants. Members of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office assisted in the execution of the warrants in Spotsylvania County.

"This investigation will continue until all parties involved in this dangerous criminal activity are charged and arrested," states Sheriff Charles Jett. "Every asset of the Sheriff's Office will be utilized in this investigation."


This is still an ongoing investigation and it is anticipated that charges and arrests against additional individuals may be possible.

LARCENY:
400 block Hunter St, 12/9 12:40 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole an iPod
and GPS from her unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
100 block Wellington Lakes Dr, 12/11 3:00 a.m. A resident reported that her wallet was stolen
from her apartment. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
ARRESTS:
Allison Crasco, 28, of Spotsylvania was arrested on multiple charges of felony embezzlement
and forgery.
Teresa Nelson, 53, of Stafford was arrested on a charge of felony shoplifting.
Dylan Six, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a warrant from Stafford County charging him
with making threatening or harassing phone calls.
Kalian Gonzalez, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Gonzalez was released on a summons.
Sadie Borja, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested on charges of allowing a dangerous dog to run at
large, failure to obey the leash law, and failure to obtain a city dog license. Borja was released
on summons.

BURGLARY: On Dec. 7 at 2:07 a.m., unknown suspect(s) rang the front door of a house in the 12000 block of Bluff Creek Court in Waldorf. The homeowner did not answer the door because of the time of day. The homeowner then heard people on his back deck. He walked downstairs and turned on the lights and the suspects fled. Officer Behm and his K9 partner conducted a track and located a glove in the backyard of the residence. The track looped around the home and ended on the street in front of the residence. The screen to the rear sliding glass door was cut by suspects. Entry was not gained into the home. Officer A. Bringly is investigating.
FUGITIVES ARRESTED: On Dec. 5 at 1:37 p.m., officers received information that a wanted man, Randy Huston, 33of Riverdale, was going to be at an address on Collins Court in Waldorf. Officers with the CCSO patrol, K9 and warrants unit along with deputies from the Prince George's County Sheriff's Office responded and observed Huston pick up a woman from the house and leave. Officers initiated a traffic stop but Huston took off and fled, crashing his car into a tree. Huston jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot. He was arrested a few days later in Prince George's County. The passenger in the car, Samantha Lee Hamilton, 26, of Waldorf was arrested after it was learned she had an open warrant for violation of probation relating to a burglary charge and the car she was in had been stolen from Prince George's County on Dec. 4. Huston had open warrants in Charles and Prince George's County. Some of his charges include attempt murder, first-degree assault, carjacking, arson, and violation of probation relating to a felony theft charge. Officer M. Smith investigated.

LARCENY:
Woodbridge and Coleman, 710 Princess Anne St, 12/5 – 12/8 8:45 a.m. An employee reported
that an unknown person stole a sign from the side of the building. No suspects or witnesses at
this time.
COUNTERFEITING:
Noodles and Company, 1212 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 12/8 8:00 p.m. The manager reported that a
black male with a tattoo on his neck and a large gap between his front teeth passed a counterfeit
$50 bill at the business. The investigation is ongoing.
Jimmy John's, 1291 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 12/8 8:35 p.m. A manager reported that a black male
passed a counterfeit bill at the business. The description of the suspect matches the suspect
described at Noodles and Company. The investigation is ongoing.
ARRESTS:
Dwight Maynard, 38, of Manassas was arrested on charges of shoplifting, possession of drug
paraphernalia, possession of a schedule I narcotic, and possession of precursor items used in the
production of methamphetamine.
James Kiger, 45, of Locust Grove was arrested on a charge of felony concealment.
Irvin Johnson, 42, of Locust Grove was arrested on a warrant from Orange County charging him
with failure to appear in court.
Dawn Zimmerman, 54, of King George was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor shoplifting
from Wegmans.
Tina Heath, 47, of Colonial Beach was arrested on a charge of felony shoplifting from Wegmans.
Edward Washington, 47, of no fixed address was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and
public intoxication.

Theft
On 12/5/14, Deputy C. Smeal arrested Al Smith, 28 of Fredericksburg for Grand Larceny from Wal-Mart.

On 12/4/14, Deputy Lamont arrested Lawrence Gaffney, 25 of Fredericksburg for Misdemeanor Shoplifting from Belk. Ashley Hill, 20 of Stafford was also arrested and released on a Summons for Shoplifting at Belk.

On 12/4/14, Deputy D. Setlock charged Levi Mullen, 18 of Spotsylvania with Petit Larceny at Wal-Mart. He was released on a summons.

On 12/2/14, Deputy Griffith arrested Christopher Flemming, 31; Michael Dobbins, 20; Brandon Carter, 18; and Tiffany Valvo, 22 for Obstruction of Justice. Flemming was arrested for Misdemeanor Shoplifting, and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny. Dobbins and Carter were arrested for Conspiracy to Commit Larceny. Valvo was released on a summons.

On 12/2/14, Deputy Spillman released Alicia Sheri Greer, 25 of Spotsylvania on a summons for Shoplifting from Wal-Mart.

On 12/2/14, Deputy Scott released De'Ja Morton, 18 of Spotsylvania on a summons for Possession of Marijuana after responded to Massaponax High School for a narcotics call.

On 12/2/14, Deputy Cairns released Richard Seipp, 21; Kevin Diaz, 20; and Christian Hushion, 21, all of Spotsylvania, for Possession of Marijuana after responding to a suspicious vehicle call on Farmstead Lane.

On 12/7/14, Deputy S. Norris arrested John Helem, 21 of Culpeper for Drunk in Public and Possession of Marijuana. Breanna Gordon, 21 of Culpeper was also arrested for Drunk in Public.
On 12/7/14, Deputy Plunkett arrested Michelle Coleman, 46 NFA for Driving Suspended. Coleman was wanted by VSP for felony Fraud and Forgery.
On 12/03/14, Deputy Harney arrested Terry Wayne Morris, 68 from Spotsylvania in the area of Harrison Road and Jefferson Davis Highway for an outstanding warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Deputy Harney also obtained new warrants for Driving After Being a Habitual Offender and Driving With an Open Container of Alcohol.
On 12/1/14, Deputy Spillman arrested David King, 19 of Spotsylvania for Obstruction of Justice in the area of the Steeplechase Apartments.

**INCIDENTS**

Strong Armed Robbery – On December 8th at 6:30PM, officers responded to the Saks Fifth Ave in Potomac Mills Mall located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shoplifting. Officers arrived at the business and were informed by an employee with loss prevention that an unknown man entered the store, took a pair of shoes and attempted to leave the store without paying. As the employee went to detain the suspect, the man assaulted the employee and fled in a vehicle. No injuries were reported. Officers searched the area and did not locate the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 20 & 30 years of age with a medium build, medium complexion and tattoos on his chest and neck
Last seen wearing a black jacket, black shirt, black pants and a black cap with white stripes

**ARRESTS**

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Abduction | Strangulation – On December 7th at 2:40PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3200 block of Ridge View Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic assault. A caller in the same building reported to police that screaming could be heard from a neighboring apartment. Officers arrived at the apartment and identified both parties involved in the altercation. The victim, a 30 year old woman of Woodbridge, was immediately transported to an area hospital with significant injuries. The investigation revealed that the victim was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, a known acquaintance. The encounter escalated physically when the accused retrieved a metal rod and repeatedly struck the victim in the head. The victim attempted to leave the apartment multiple times but was subsequently restrained by the accused. At one point, the accused used the metal rod to restrict the victim's breathing. The accused was at the residence when officers arrived and was detained without further incident. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Sexual Battery – On November 10th, detectives from the Special Victim's Unit responded to investigate a sexual battery allegation which was reported to have occurred at the Patient First located at 9715 Liberia Ave in Manassas (20110). The victim, a 23 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that during an examination he was sexually assaulted by the accused, a physician at the facility. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested on December 3rd.

Strong Armed Robbery *ARREST – On December 5th, the suspect involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 14400 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge on November 24th turned himself into police without incident after seeing his information posted on the police department's Facebook page.

Strong Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On November 24th at 1:22PM, officers responded to the 14400 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 43 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he walking through the Prince William Plz when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect grabbed the victim's cell phone from his hands and fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported. On December 2nd, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified the suspect involved in this robbery. Following the investigation, detectives obtained a warrant for the suspect's arrest.

Armed Robbery – On December 7th at 2:13PM, officers responded to the Best Western located at 14619 Potomac Mills Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the lobby and approached the counter. The man implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the hotel on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

Strong Armed Robbery – On December 5th at 8:10PM, officers responded to the 4200 block of Divided Sky Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 16 year old male juvenile of Dumfries, reported to police that he made arrangements to meet with an unknown man in the above area to conduct a drug transaction. Once there, the victim encountered two men who then assaulted and robbed the victim of marijuana and a cell phone. Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects.

Strong Armed Robbery – On December 5th at 5:45PM, officers responded to Woodbridge High School located at 3001 Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 15 year old female juvenile of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking across school property when she was approached by an unknown male juvenile accompanied by two other female juveniles. During the encounter, the male suspect grabbed the victim's phone and fled on foot with the other juveniles. No injuries were reported.

Black male, between 15 & 16 years of age, 5'10", 150lbs with a thin build, medium complexion, a 2" black afro and brown eyes

Residential Burglary – On December 6th at 4:17PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1400 block of California St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30PM on December 5th and 3:15PM on December 6th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a bedroom window after a window air conditioning unit was pushed in. Multiple watches and money were reported missing.


Residential Burglary – On December 6th at 3:06PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8600 block of Placid Lake Ct in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on December 5th and 2:30PM on December 6th. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a lower level window which was forced open. A handgun, jewelry and money were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On December 6th at 10:23PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14800 block of Emberdale Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she was asleep and woke to her alarm sounding. Upon checking the residence, the homeowner located a rear door which appeared to have been forced open. No property was reported missing. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect(s).

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On December 4th at 10:15PM, officers responded to the 8200 block of Shoppers Sq in Manassas (20111) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 36 year old man of Berryville VA, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when three unknown men approached him from behind. One of the men pushed the victim up against a fence while a second man pulled out a gun and demanded the victim's property. During the encounter the armed suspect struck the victim in the head with the gun. The men took the victim's wallet before fleeing in a light colored sedan. Minor injuries were reported.
Suspect Descriptions:
All suspects were described as black males, between 25 & 30 years of age, around 5'10", 150lbs with thin builds

**ARRESTS**

Forcible Sodomy – On December 4th, detectives from the Special Victim's Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the area of Blue Pool Dr and Hildas Way in Woodbridge (22191) on December 1st. The investigation revealed that the victim, an 11 year old girl of Woodbridge, was sexually assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance, in a wooded area near the above location. The victim reported the incident to her mother on December 4th who then contacted the School Resource Officer at the victim's school. Following the investigation, the accused, a juvenile, was arrested.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2014
LARCENY:
1000 block Raymond Ct, 12/5 3:45 a.m. An early morning commuter reported that he saw a tall
and thin male subject who was wearing a hoodie over his face and looking into vehicles parked
on the street. When police arrived, the suspect had left the scene. One resident was found who
reported that someone had rummaged through the interior of her car and stolen a small quantity
of loose change. The investigation is ongoing.
1000 block Jons Pl, 12/4 – 12/5 6:25 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole
some clothing and other items of value from his vehicle. This investigation is presumed to be
related to the larceny and suspicious activity on Raymond Court.
COUNTERFEITING:
Five Below, 1386 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 12/3 – 12/4 1:50 p.m. An employee reported that a
customer passed two counterfeit bills while making a purchase. The investigation is ongoing.

**INCIDENTS**

Residential Burglary – On December 3rd at 11:13AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3600 block of Anchorage Cove in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary to a vacant home. The property owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM and 9:00AM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Miscellaneous tools and building supplies were reported missing.

Commercial Burglary – On December 3rd at 10:30AM, officers responded to Penny's II Savage located at 13304 Telegraph Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30PM on December 2nd and 8:00AM on December 3rd. The investigation revealed that entry was made into one of the garages to the business through a door which was pried open. Vehicles located on the property were also entered. Copper and electrical wiring, catalytic converters and aluminum wheels were reported missing.

Commercial Burglary – On December 3rd at 10:09AM, officers responded to a multiuse office building located at 17739 Main St in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. The property manager reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM on December 1st and 9:00AM on December 3rd. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the lobby area of the building. There were no signs of forced entry. A TV was were reported missing.

Burglary with Intent to Commit Assault | Destruction of Property – On December 3rd at 10:03PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7600 block of Somerset Ln in Manassas (20110) to investigate a domestic dispute. The victim, a 46 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, came to his residence to confront a female acquaintance over an ongoing issue. During the encounter, the accused began to pound on the front door and, at one point, attempted to forcibly enter the residence once being confronted by the victim to leave. The accused also broke a window to the residence and caused damage to the front door. Officers arrived and detained the accused without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

VANDALISM:
Dental Office, 1995 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 12/3 11:00 a.m. – 8:50 p.m. An employee reported
that an unknown person punctured the gas tank on her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
ARRESTS:
Christopher Buchanan, 29, of Spotsylvania was arrested for the charge of probation violation.
Cody Blevins, 26, of no fixed address was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana and
on warrants from Orange and Prince William Counties charging him with failure to appear in
court.

ROBBERY: On Dec. 2 at 8:31 p.m., a lone male entered a sub shop at 2246 Crain Highway in Waldorf. He approached two clerks, displayed a gun and demanded money. The clerks complied and the suspect fled. The suspect is described as a white male wearing a charcoal gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and gloves. His face was masked as he entered the store. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Wimberly at (301) 609-6491. ROBBERY: On Dec. 2 at 3:08 a.m., a lone male entered a convenience store at 2471 Crain Highway in Waldorf. He approached a clerk, displayed a gun and demanded money and cigarettes. The clerk complied and the suspect fled. The suspect was described as a white or light skinned male in his 30's, 5'9", 160 lbs., wearing a gray hooded shirt and jeans. Anyone with information is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Division at(301) 609-6481.
CROSSING GUARD STRUCK BY CAR/MINOR INJURIES: On Dec. 1 at 7:08 a.m., a crossing guard at La Plata High School was directing traffic on Radio Station Road when the driver of a Ford F150 – a 76-year-old man from La Plata – failed to stop and struck her at a low speed. The driver remained on the scene and called for help. The crossing guard was transported to Charles Regional Medical Center where she was treated for injuries that were not life threatening. Officer P. McPherson of the Traffic Operations Unit is investigating.
CRIME SOLVERS FUGITIVE FRIDAY SUSPECT APPREHENDED: On Dec. 1 at 6:53 a.m., members of the Warrant Unit developed information regarding the whereabouts of Anthony Dmante Brown, 32, of Waldorf, who was wanted for seven open warrants including violation of probation for drug charges, traffic charges and violation of an ex-parte order. Brown had been featured as the Crime Solvers Fugitive Friday suspect last week. Members of patrol, warrants and K9 responded to a location in Waldorf and located Brown. He was arrested and transported to the Charles County Detention Center where he is being held on bond. Officers M.Bourgeouis, K. Goddard, J. Alpert and S. Weedon made the apprehension.
SCOOTER RECOVERED: On Nov. 29 at 11:15 a.m., officers found an abandoned scooter near Victoria Place in Waldorf. The scooter appeared to have been stolen. Officer T. McKimmie is investigating.
THEFT FROM AUTO: Between Nov. 28 and Nov. 29, someone stole a gun and other items from a car parked in the 6100 block of Bicknell Road in Indian Head. Cpl R. Gilroy is investigating.
RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT: On Nov. 29 at 1:32 a.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Dorset Drive in Waldorf for the report of gunshots. When officers arrived, they discovered several vehicles and one house had been struck by bullets. There was also damage to a house on Copperfield Court. No one was injured. Officer S. Hooper is investigating.
BURGLARY: On Nov. 28, during the daytime hours, someone broke into a house in the 1000 block of Spruce Street in Waldorf and stole electronics and jewelry. There were no obvious signs of forced entry. Officer T. McKimmie is investigating.

BRANDISHING:
Taco Bell, 543 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 12/1 12:05 p.m. A 31-year-old city resident reported that
he exchanged words with the driver of another car in the parking lot of Taco Bell after observing
the other man driving recklessly through the lot. While the victim was pulling away from the
other vehicle, he saw the other driver pull out a handgun and point it at him. Both subjects were
still on the scene when officers arrived. The offender, Kevin Gott, 29, of Stafford was arrested
for the charge of brandishing a firearm and the gun was seized as evidence. Gott was released by
the magistrate on a $1500 unsecured bond.
LARCENY:
Hilton Garden Inn, 1060 Hospitality Ln, 11/25 – 11/26 12:10 a.m. A guest reported that a large
amount of cash was stolen from her room. The investigation is ongoing.
1200 block William St, 11/29 – 12/2 10:00 a.m. The property owner reported that an unknown
person broke into his storage shed and stole a number of tools. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
Carrabba's, 1951 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 12/1 – 12/2 11:00 a.m. A customer reported that an
unknown person stole her credit card after she paid for her meal. The offender later used the
card to make purchases at several area stores. The investigation is ongoing.
VANDALISM:
Children's House, 312 Sophia St, 11/21 – 11/24 8:00 a.m. The director reported that an
unknown person damaged the playground equipment. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
500 block Caroline St, 11/28 – 11/30 6:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
removed a pot containing flowers from his steps and threw them across the sidewalk. No
suspects or witnesses at this time.
ARRESTS:
Rydell Jackson, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for the charge of vandalism.
Ryan Frank, 28, of Rice was arrested for the charge of contributing to the delinquency of a
minor.

Strong Armed Robbery *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On December 2nd, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified the suspect involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 14400 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge on November 24th. Strong Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On November 24th at 1:22PM, officers responded to the 14400 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 43 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he walking through the Prince William Plz when he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect grabbed the victim's cell phone from his hands and fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported.

Commercial Burglary – On December 1st at 3:00PM, officers responded to Howison Homestead Park located at 14716 Minnieville Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:00PM on November 25th and 8:00AM on November 26th. The investigation revealed that a building leased to the Prince William Courage Soccer Association was entered through a rear basement level door which was pried open. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

Armed Robbery – On December 1st at 2:42PM, officers responded to the Citgo Service Station located at 14101 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that he was a mechanic at the business and observed an unknown man approach his moped which was being repaired. At one point, the suspect attempted to take the moped and was confronted by the employee. During the encounter, the employee reported that the accused brandished a handgun before leaving with the moped. Officers located the moped and a suspect matching the description provided by witnesses on nearby Roanoke St. Following the investigation the suspect was connected to the incident and was subsequently arrested. No injuries were reported.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On December 1st at 9:26PM, officers responded to Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center located at 2300 Opitz Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a disorderly call. The investigation revealed that a patient, later identified as the accused, was intoxicated and became disorderly with staff while being treated at the facility. An officer working an off-duty assignment at the hospital attempted to detain the accused. During the encounter, the accused struck the officer in the chest. The accused was eventually taken into custody. No injuries were reported.

On 11/30/14, Deputy Durbin released Omari Warren Corbie, 21 from Spotsylvania on a Summons for Possession of Marijuana at the intersection of HCC Drive and Hamilton's Crossing Drive as a result of a traffic stop.
On 11/28/14, Deputy Londeree arrested Shannon Chandler, 36 of Spotsylvania for Possession of Marijuana. She was released on a summons.
On 11/26/14, Deputy Ridings charged and released Ronald Guy Barnes (19 of Spotsylvania), Tyler Russell Chunn (20 of Spotsylvania) and Chance Tylor Morris (19 of Spotsylvania) for Possession of Marijuana. This resulted from a traffic stop for failing to obey a highway sign at Carr Drive and Wicker Street.

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On November 27th at 7:22PM, officers responded to the Valero Service Station located at 13295 Trowbridge Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the business and approached the counter. Once at the counter, the man pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Black male, unknown age, 6'0" with a muscular build
Last seen wearing a hooded black & camouflage jacket, blue jeans and a striped shirt

Armed Robbery – On November 27th at 12:32AM, officers responded to the 1500 block of Randall Ct in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 21 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he made arrangements over Facebook to meet with two unknown women in the above area to sell a cell phone. Once in the area, the victim met with the women in front of a residence. During the encounter, an unknown man approached the group and pulled out a handgun, demanding the victim's phone. The man took the phone before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported.

Hispanic male, between 18 & 25 years of age, 5'9", 150lbs with a thin build, short black hair and an unshaven face

Residential Burglary – On December 1st at 12:52AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3700 block of Port Hope Pt. in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:00PM on November 26th and 12:52AM on December 1st. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a rear window which was broken out. A MacBook, cell phone and purse were reported missing.


Residential Burglary – On November 29th at 7:55PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4800 block of Kirkdale Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM on November 25th and 7:55PM on November 29th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured window. Jewelry was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On November 28th at 4:33PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3900 block of Soundview Cir in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM and 6:00PM on November 27th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Four CD's were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On November 28th at 1:31PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 19000 block of Queen Dr in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:00PM on November 23rd and 1:00PM on November 28th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured window. No property was reported missing.

The businesses owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on November 27th and 8:00AM on November 28th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the business. Entry is believed to have been made into the residence through an unsecured window. Ac computer and hard drive were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On November 27th at 12:46PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 1400 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00PM on November 6th and 12:30PM on November 27th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Furniture, surround sound, a TV and other property were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On November 30th at 1:50PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 17500 block of Victoria Falls Dr in Dumfries (22025) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 8:00PM on November 29th and 10:00AM on November 30th, entry was attempted into the home through the front door which was found damaged. No entry was made into the residence and property was reported missing.


Attempted Residential Burglary – On November 30th at 11:22AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7400 block of Rosita Ct in Manassas (20112) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 9:05AM and 11:10AM, entry was attempted into the home through the front door which was found damaged. No entry was made into the residence and property was reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding | Reckless Handling of a Firearm | Residential Burglary – On November 27th at 4:24AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3000 block of Clarkford Cr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a fight. The homeowner reported to police that the two men listed below, both known acquaintances, forcibly entered the residence and confronted the victim, a 34 year old man of Woodbridge. The altercation escalated physically between the victim and BERTRAND. During the encounter, BERTRAND struck the victim in the face with an unknown object causing a large cut near his eye and other lacerations to his face. After the altercation, both suspects left the home. Officers located the suspects at a home on Bluefin Dr. The investigation further revealed that the second suspect, NANCE, stole a firearm during the encounter and had discharged a round at the Bluefin Dr address. No injuries were reported as a result of the discharged round. Following the investigation, both suspects were arrested.

Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On November 26th at 4:02AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 18300 block of Sharon Rd in Triangle (22172) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 34 year old woman of Triangle, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused threw an electronic tablet towards the victim which struck her in the head. At one point, the accused knocked the victim to the ground and began to choke her. Another resident of the home contacted police. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Malicious Wounding – On November 28th at 2:00AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 17500 block of Mine Rd in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 40 year old man of Dumfries, reported to police that he was physically assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance, following a separate altercation involving the accused and a female acquaintance. During the encounter, the accused repeatedly struck the victim in the face causing significant injuries. The parties separated and the accused left the area prior to officers arriving at the home. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant against the accused. The accused turned himself into police on December 1st without further incident.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On November 30th at 3:15AM, officers responded to the 6400 block of Ashby Grove Lp in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that he was asleep inside his home when he woke to a sound coming from a window. Upon checking the residence, the homeowner observed a suspect fleeing through the yard area of the home. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing. A responding officer located an intoxicated man in a running vehicle near the home of the reported burglary. Officers made contact and identified the driver as the accused. The accused actively resisted when officers attempted to arrest him. At one point, the accused kicked one of the officers multiple times. After a brief struggle, the accused was eventually detained without further incident. Minor injuries were reported. The burglary incident is still under investigation.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] | Assault & Battery on Rescue Personnel – On November 30th at 12:30AM, officers responded to Costa Real located at 8423 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a disorderly call. Officers arrived at the location to assist rescue personnel with an intoxicated individual, later identified as the accused. During the medical transport, the accused spat on a member of the rescue staff. The accused was also able to free his hands and strike an officer aiding in the transport. No injuries were reported. Following the encounter, the accused was arrested.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] | Assault & Battery – On November 29th at 5:59PM, officers responded to Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center located at 2300 Opitz Blvd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a disorderly call. The investigation revealed that a patient, later identified as the accused, became disorderly while being treated at the facility. During the encounter, the accused struck a member of the hospital staff before removing his clothing and running around the ER. An officer on an unrelated call at the hospital attempted to detain the accused and was assaulted. Additional officers also responded and were eventually able to take the accused into custody. Minor injuries were reported.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] | Assault & Battery – On November 28th at 11:01AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 6500 block of Atkins Way in Haymarket (20169) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 49 year old woman of Haymarket, reported to police that she was assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance, following a verbal altercation. The accused was subsequently arrested and placed in the back seat of a police cruiser. At that point, the accused was able to reposition and kicked a rear window of the cruiser. An officer standing near the cruiser issued commands to the accused to stop kicking the window. The accused kicked the window a second time causing the glass to shatter. As a result, glass chards struck the officer causing minor lacerations to his arm and head. The officer was treated at the scene.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On November 27th at 9:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8200 block of Ancient Oak Ct in Manassas (20111) to investigate a disorderly call. Officers arrived and located the accused outside of the residence. Officers further learned that the accused was intoxicated and had been involved in a domestic assault which took place in another jurisdiction shortly before this incident. While officers were attempting to gather more information, the accused became agitated and pushed one of the officers. Following a brief struggle, the accused was eventually detained without further incident. Minor injuries were reported.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] | Domestic Assault & Battery – On November 27th at 3:54PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12200 block of Charles Lacy Dr in Manassas (20112) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 59 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she was assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance, following a verbal altercation. The accused actively resisted when officers attempted to arrest him. At one point, the accused struck one of the officers in the face. After a brief struggle, the accused was eventually detained without further incident. Minor injuries were reported.

600 block Hawke St, 11/25 – 11/26 9:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole
a cell phone and other items of value from his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 11/30 1:00 a.m. A manager reported that an unknown
person stole his cell phone. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1000 block Albert Rennolds Dr, 11/28 – 11/29 8:20 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown
person stole his wallet from his unlocked vehicle. The wallet was later found in the street by a
neighbor. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
200 block Morningside Dr, 11/26 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown
person slashed two tires on her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Toys R Us, 3101 Plank Rd, 11/27 8:20 p.m. A shopper reported that an unknown person
scratched and damaged her vehicle in the parking lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
500 block Caroline St, 11/27 – 11/28 9:15 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
removed a flower box from a front window and dumped the flowers onto the sidewalk. No
suspects or witnesses at this time.
Shops at Jones Row, 610 Caroline St, 11/30 5:00 p.m. The owner reported that an unknown
person shattered the front window of her business. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
DUI ARRESTS:
Melvin Johnson, 56, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI and driving as a habitual offender in
the 400 block of Germania Street.
Preston Setterlund, 24, of Killeen, Texas was arrested for DUI in the 1000 block of College
Avenue.
Robert Lee Beck, 44, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI in the 1200 block of Jefferson
Davis Highway.
James William Smith, 45, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 200 block of Jefferson
Davis Highway.Elias Morales Sanchez, 35, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI in the 200 block of Twin
Lake Drive.
Ned Whitling, 31, of Manassas was arrested for DUI and possession of a concealed weapon
while intoxicated in the 700 block of Kenmore Avenue.
ARRESTS:
Daniel Rice, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Wegmans.
Raynard Fox, 31, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana, driving while
revoked, and providing false identification to law enforcement.
Cody Sneed, 21, of Colonial Beach was arrested for possession of a schedule II narcotic.
Rodney Jones, 45, of no fixed address was arrested on a warrant from Stafford charging him with
probation violation.
Sean Phillips, 23, of King George was arrested for felony shoplifting from Walmart.
Zachary Whitt, 20, of Haymarket was arrested for possession of marijuana and released on a
summons.
Abdullah Alrashoudi, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana and
released on a summons.
Mandy Schmitt, 24, of Woodford was arrested for assault and battery.
