Driver in fatal hit-and-run still sought

BEALETON, Va. (AP) - State police are still looking for the driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run in Fauquier County.
State police have obtained a warrant for 32-year-old Diego Vazquez Mendoza of Culpeper County.
Mendoza Is accused of fleeing on foot after his pickup truck rear-ended a car on Route 17 on Dec. 23. The impact pushed the car into another car. The car and the pickup then ran off the side of the road together.
The car's driver, 58-year-old Douglas Rabren of Stafford, was killed. A passenger was injured.
