Elderly Orange Resident Murdered

Orange County authorities are looking for a Louisa man for questioning in the murder of an elderly county resident.
The sheriff's office reports that 84-year-old James Oliver Weaver was found dead at his Monrovia Road home on Thursday. Autopsy results indicate that the victim died of blunt force trauma to the head.
Deputies are looking for 43-year-old James Melvin Smith in connection with the case. Smith is wanted on felony fraud and forgery charges and is known to be driving a white, 1995 Chevy SUV.
