MIAMI (AP) - Event organizers say a large LED screen being set up for the Ultra Music Festival collapsed in downtown Miami, injuring several people.
Fire rescue workers responded to Bayfront Park Thursday evening and took victims to a nearby trauma center. An event spokeswoman says that the accident occurred during preparations for the festival. It wasn't immediately clear how badly the workers were hurt. The event spokeswoman confirmed that two workers were injured, but other media outlets, quoting fire rescue officials, were reporting up to three or four people injured.
The annual outdoor electronic music festival is set to begin Friday and run over two weekends. Among those scheduled to perform are David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Deadmau5, Avicii and Snoop Dogg.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Colin Trevorrow is taking the reins of "Jurassic Park."
Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment announced Thursday that the 36-year-old director will helm "Jurassic Park 4."
Trevorrow made his feature film directorial debut with last year's "Safety Not Guaranteed."
Steven Spielberg is executive producing "Jurassic Park 4," which is set for release in 3-D on June 13, 2014. The script was written by "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" screenwriters Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.
The first two "Jurassic Park" films were directed by Spielberg, while the third installment was helmed by "Captain America" director Joe Johnston.
The dinosaur franchise has grossed $1.9 billion at the box office worldwide since the first film was released in 1993.
The original "Jurassic Park" will be rereleased in theaters April 5 in 3-D.

"Breaking Bad" Makes Fame for a Burrito Chain

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A fast-food burrito chain in Albuquerque is drawing tourists from around the world who want to see where a fictional drug trafficker runs his organization.
A pastry shop sells doughnuts topped with blue candy designed to resemble crystal meth. A beauty store has a similar product - crystal blue bathing salts.
As "Breaking Bad" finishes filming its fifth and final season in Albuquerque, the popularity of the show is providing a boost to the city's economy.
It's also creating a dilemma for local tourism officials as they walk the fine line of profiting from a show that centers around drug trafficking, addiction and violence.
Albuquerque has seen an unexpected jump in tourists visiting popular sites from the show and local businesses cashing in on its popularity.

Matt Lauer Wants "Today" Show Back on Top

NEW YORK (AP) - Matt Lauer says he wants to get the "Today" show back to being the most-watched and least talked-about morning show on TV, and he expects to do it.
The beleaguered morning show host made that pitch to a group of advertisers Thursday at an unfortunately timed sales event. Rival "Good Morning America" has scored its three largest margins of victory over "Today" since 1994 over the past three weeks.
Lauer said the show loves covering the news but not being the news. He spoke at a luncheon NBC News sponsored to hawk its wares to advertisers and people who buy commercial time.

More than 200 Hours of Motorsports on NBC this Weekend
by Associated Press

NBC Sports Group kicks off more than 200 programming hours of motorsports coverage with this weekend's Formula One season opener.
And that's got the IndyCar community more than a little concerned they'll now be overshadowed on the network they've called home since 2009.
NBC executives say there's no reason to worry, there's plenty of room for both F1 and IndyCar across the various platforms. And in having both series with one television property, they see an opportunity for open-wheel racing to flourish in the U.S.
IndyCar drivers and former CEO Randy Bernard were openly critical of NBC Sports Network last season over ratings, promotion and marketing. Most felt the cable network did not do enough to promote the series or attract viewers to the telecasts.

DANVILLE, Va. (AP) - A star of the TV show "Moonshiners" has been arrested for public intoxication.
Police in Danville announced Tuesday they had arrested Steven Ray Tickle - known on the show as "Tickle" - at a convenience store on Thursday.
Police say they received a report of a man sitting in the parking lot of Charley's Stop and Shop drinking, and they saw Tickle with an open container and smelling of alcohol.
The 35-year-old Tickle was released from the Danville City Jail later that day. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney. A spokesman for Discovery Channel, which airs the show, didn't immediately return a call seeking comment.
"Moonshiners" follows people making the illegal brew. The show's website describes Tickle as "a hard working still hand who loves moonshine."

"Girls Gone Wild" Company Files Bankruptcy
by Associated Press

posted Feb 28 2013 6:39PM
|
|
LOS ANGELES (AP) - The company behind the "Girls Gone Wild" video empire has filed for bankruptcy in a move it says is an effort to restructure its legal affairs after several disputed court judgments.
GGW Brands LLC and several subsidiaries filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Wednesday in Los Angeles, listing more than $16 million in disputed claims.
The largest claim is $10.3 million that Wynn Resorts Limited is seeking from the company for judgments entered against "Girls Gone Wild" founder Joe Francis over a gambling debt and statements he has made about the casino and its founder, Steve Wynn.
Francis no longer owns the company, which has made a fortune selling videos and magazines of young women flashing their breasts.
"Girls Gone Wild" issued a statement that it is financially strong but needed to "re-structure its frivolous and burdensome legal affairs."
