Around 4 o’clock Tuesday morning Fredericksburg police and fire responded to a report of an explosion inside a home on Normandy Avenue.
Natatia Bledsoe of the Fredericksburg Police Department said a woman who lives there was not hurt.
Two similar incidents occurred in Stafford County within two hours of the explosion in Fredericksburg.
In addition to Stafford and Fredericksburg police, the Stafford Fire Marshal’s Office, the BATF and state police are investigating.
