A fatal crash on I-95 south in Stafford county late Wednesday night is still being investigated. In addition to the death, another person is taken to Mary Washington Hospital for treatment.
The Fredericksburg Fire Department says the single-vehicle accident happens at the 131 mile marker at about 11:00 p.m. when the vehicle went over a guardrail and landed in a grassy area on the opposite side of the road. The damage leads them to believe that it rolled at least one time.
The crash remains under investigation.
