An early morning barn fire in Fauquier County is creating a headache for some travelers.
The fire is along a stretch of US 17 between Bealeton and Opal. Fire officials report that only the Northbound lanes of the highway are closed to traffic and that Southbound lanes are open to traffic along the divided strech of roadway.
The fire was reported before 5 a.m.
There is no word as to the extent of damage or the contents of the barn at this time.
