Fredericksburg Incident Report

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, JUNE 18, 2012
BURGLARY:
1600 block Caroline St, 6/16 5:30 pm. A resident reported that an unknown person entered
her house and stole loose change from two locations inside and a quantity of cash from her
purse. The method of entry to the residence was not apparent. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
LARCENY:
600 block Maury St, 6/14 – 6/15 7:30 am. A resident reported that a computer and cell phone
were stolen from her unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
900 block Cornell St, 6/14 – 6/15 9:15 am. A resident reported that a GPS and set of
binoculars were stolen from his unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1100 block Prince Edward St, 6/14 10:00 am. A resident reported that his GPS and other items
of value were stolen from his unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
300 block Hansen Ave, 6/15 – 6/16 9:30 am. A resident reported that an unknown person
entered both of her unlocked vehicles and stole a GPS from one of them. No suspects or
witnesses at this time.
300 block Hansen Ave, 6/15 – 6/16 5:00 am. A resident reported that her GPS and DVD
player were stolen from her unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
700 block Mary Ball St, 6/14 – 6/16 10:30 am. A resident reported that her iPod and GPS were
stolen from her unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1200 block Prince Edward St, 6/16 – 6/17 11:25 am. A resident reported that a baby stroller
was stolen from her porch and her vehicle registration card was stolen from the glove box of
her unsecured vehicle. The stroller was later recovered on Stuart Street and returned to its
owner. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1800 block William St, 6/15 10:00 am. A resident reported that several flowering plants were
unearthed from her flower garden. The victim believes she saw the suspect, a white female
with long brown hair, walking away from her apartment building with the flowers in her hands.
No known suspects at this time.
R&R Antiques, 1001 Caroline St, 6/9 (reported 6/15) A shopper reported that her keys were
stolen from her purse while she was inside the store. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
College Heights Swim Club, 500 Greenbrier Dr, 6/14 – 6/15 10:15 am. The manager reported
that cash and paychecks were stolen from the lock box located inside one of the buildings. No
suspects or witnesses at this time.
800 block Brompton St, 6/16 – 6/17 11:00 am. A resident reported that her bicycle and bike
helmet were stolen from her front porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
900 block Marye St, 6/14 – 6/17 3:00 pm. A resident reported that the passenger side mirror
on his vehicle was stolen. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Funland, 1351 Central Park Blvd, 6/15 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm. A patron reported that her cell
phone was stolen while she was inside the business. The investigation is ongoing.
Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 6/16 3:30 pm. A customer reported that her purse was
stolen from her shopping cart. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Fredericksburg Gold and Pawn, 447 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 6/16 6:00 pm. An employee
reported that three male subjects stole jewelry from a case behind the counter. The theft was
not discovered until after the suspects left the store. The investigation is ongoing.
Walker Grant Middle School, 1 Learning Ln, 6/14 3:00 pm (reported 6/17) A student reported
that her iPod was stolen from the gym. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
Best Western, 2205 Plank Rd, 6/15 2:00 am – 6:30 am. A guest reported that the lock was cut
on his utility trailer. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1600 block Caroline St, 6/17 9:30 am – 9:45 pm. A resident reported that a pane of glass was
broken out of her back door. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
600 block Maury St, 6/14 – 6/15 7:30 am. A resident reported that an unknown person
damaged one of his vehicles with a rock in an apparent attempt to make entry, and his second
vehicle also showed evidence of tampering on the inside. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
Wegmans, 2281 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 6/15 – 6/16 2:15 am. A juvenile reported that an
unknown person damaged his vehicle and left a shopping cart on the hood. No suspects or
witnesses at this time.
Lincare, 305 Hanson Ave, 6/16 2:00 am – 1:15 pm. An employee reported that one of the
windshield wipers was broken on a company-owned vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
College Heights Swim Club, 500 Greenbrier Dr, 6/16 – 6/17 10:00 am. An employee reported
that the metal grill covering the window at the snack bar was broken. No suspects or witnesses
at this time.
VEHICLE TAMPERING:
800 block Mortimer Ave, 6/14 – 6/15 10:45 am. A resident reported that an unknown person
entered her unlocked vehicle and rummaged through the contents of her glove box. No
suspects or witnesses at this time.
HIT AND RUN:
Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 6/16 1:00 pm. A Spotsylvania resident reported that she
was struck by a white Mitsubishi Eclipse in the parking lot as she was walking toward the
entrance of the business. The female driver of the Mitsubishi spoke to the victim briefly after
the incident, but she left the scene prior to the arrival of police. The victim was not badly
injured. The investigation is ongoing.
DUI ARRESTS:
Richard Connelly, 32, of Rappahannock Academy was arrested for DUI in the 2800 block of
Gordon Shelton Boulevard.
Susan Finch, 32, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI and refusal to submit to a blood or
breath test in the 1000 block of Hampton Street.
Harold Short, 29, of Sterling was arrested for DUID in the 900 block of the Blue Gray
Parkway.
ARRESTS:
David Palmer, 55, of Spotsylvania was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.
Jessica Manning, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Cheryl Richardson, 55, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
Rubi Morales, 19, of King George was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
Samuel MacGregor, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication.
Derrick Singletary, 29, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
Sammie Isaac, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Charles Linkenhoker, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication and simple
assault.
Tyrone Dyer, 27, of Locust Grove was arrested on warrants from Montgomery County
charging him with grand larceny and destruction of property.
Joshua Salerno, 29, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
James Bonsall, 57, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
Lewis Ellis, 52, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.
James Allen, 55, of Fredericksburg was arrested for drinking in public.
Christopher Loenichen, 20, of Springfield was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
Grace Bruce, 50, of no fixed address was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Joshua Cooper, 24, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
