Fredericksburg Incident Report

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS
MONDAY, JULY 30, 2012
ASSAULT:
100 block Lafayette Blvd, 7/27 4:30 pm. A Ruther Glen resident reported that he was
assaulted under the railway bridge by a male acquaintance who attacked him with a large rock.
The victim required transport to the emergency room for treatment of a significant head injury.
It is unknown what prompted the assault. The assailant was described as a white male in his
20’s who is known to the victim only by his first name. The victim was also found to have an
outstanding warrant against him from Stafford County; Edwin Hall, 24, was arrested for felony
probation violation and incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail after his release from
the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
Celebrate Virginia Live, 2200 Gordon Shelton Blvd, 7/29 9:00 pm. A Stafford resident
reported that an unknown female sprayed her in the face with an unknown substance, which
required the victim to be transported to the hospital for treatment. The suspect was described
as a white female in her 30’s wearing a pink tank top with spaghetti straps. The investigation is
ongoing.
BURGLARY:
1700 block Lafayette Blvd, 7/28 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm. A resident reported that a DVD player
and a large number of DVDs were stolen from her apartment. There was no sign of forced
entry to the residence. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
LARCENY:
300 block Caroline St, 7/26 – 7/27 11:30 am. A contractor reported that copper gutters and
downspouts were stolen from a construction site. The items were later found at Summit
Recycling where they had been exchanged for cash by a male subject. The suspect has been
identified and the investigation is ongoing.
Train Station, 200 Lafayette Blvd, 7/24 – 7/28 7:45 am. A Stafford resident reported that her
bicycle and lock were stolen from the train station. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Pitts Automotive, 2610 Princess Anne St, 7/28 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. A customer reported that
video games were stolen from his vehicle while it was left at the business. No suspects or
witnesses at this time.
Walmart, 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 7/28 4:15 pm – 6:15 pm. A Springfield resident reported
that prescription medications were stolen from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
200 block McConkey St, 7/29 2:50 am – 12:15 pm. Two residents reported that items of value
were stolen from their unlocked vehicles. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Radio Shack, 1287 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 7/29 3:30 pm. An employee reported that a male
subject stole a Bluetooth device by concealing it in his clothing. He then left the area in a
white Chevrolet sedan. The investigation is ongoing.
Celebrate Virginia Live, 2200 Gordon Shelton Blvd, 7/29 8:30 pm – 9:30 pm. A Spotsylvania
resident reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse while she was watching the concert.
No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
Shane’s Rib Shack, 1150 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 7/28 10:20 pm. An employee reported that a
male subject dented his vehicle in the parking lot after getting into an argument with another
employee. The suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
The Laundromat, 2014 Plank Rd, 7/29 6:00 pm. The manager reported that two young men
shattered the glass in the front door while they were horsing around inside the business. The
two left the scene in a red car. No known suspects at this time.
DUI ARRESTS:
Matthew Cheatham, 30, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI in the 500 block of Lafayette
Boulevard.
Shane Forsythe-Newell, 27, of Stafford was arrested for DUI and refusal to submit to a blood
or breath test in the 1200 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy.
ARRESTS:
Steven Littleton, 22, of King George was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Paul Sansone, 25, of Spotsylvania was arrested for abduction (related to domestic violence)
and possession of heroin.
Santanna Bynum, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of a protective order.
Justin Smith, 25, of Ruther Glen was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Quentin Miles, 41, of Arlington was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Alex Goldman, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
Steve Woods, 40, of Las Vegas was arrested for destruction of property.
Lavonda Harris, 25, of Washington D.C. was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Courtney Garnett, 19, of Ruther Glen was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Jenese Clark, 37, of Russellville, Arkansas was arrested for cruelty to animals.
Tajsha Hawthorne, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Kohls.
Khadijah Wellons, 18, of Spotsylvania was arrested for conspiracy to commit shoplifting and
felony shoplifting from Kohls.
Lenetta Gilbert, 44, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication and trespassing.
Stephan Rodney Tyler, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Stafford charging
him with probation violation.
Devin Avent, 27, of Fredericksburg was arrested for falsely identifying himself to law
enforcement, possession of counterfeit inspection, possession of counterfeit registration, and
driving on a suspended license.
Nancy Jones, 52, of Fredericksburg was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor
and felony shoplifting from Wegmans.
Steven Ellenwood, 53, of Stafford was arrested for possession of alcohol on the riverbank.
James Baron, 18, of Stafford was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank.
Daniel Strock, 18, of Stafford was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank.
Colin Duvall, 18, of Stafford was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank.
Patrick Davis, 18, of Stafford was arrested for trespassing on the riverbank.
Lazerus Singleton, 18, of Stafford was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Thomas Ray, 23, of Washington D.C. was arrested for possession of marijuana.
