TUESDAY, JULY 23, 2013
LARCENY:
1237 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 7/20 – 7/22 8:30 a.m. The site superintendent reported that an
unknown person stole a quantity of copper tubing from the construction site. The investigation is
ongoing.
1200 block Caroline St, 7/22 12:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
smashed a window on his vehicle and stole an iPhone from inside. No suspects or witnesses at
this time.
1400 block Charles St, 7/10 – 7/19 12:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole
funds from her account by fraudulently using her debit card. The investigation is ongoing.
7-Eleven, 1240 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 7/22 6:45 p.m. A Stafford resident reported that he
accidentally left his wallet on the hood of his vehicle and while he was inside the store, he
witnessed a white female taking the wallet as she walked by his car. The wallet was later found
behind the Thomas Jefferson Motel but a quantity of cash and a credit card were missing from it.
The investigation is ongoing.
1400 block Littlepage St, 7/15 – 7/22 10:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
stole a custom made tricycle from the backyard. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1000 block Caroline St, 7/22 4:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
smashed a window on her vehicle and stole her iPod from inside. No suspects or witnesses at
this time.
VANDALISM:
200 block Kings Mill Ct, 7/21 – 7/22 6:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
shattered one window and damaged a second window on his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses
at this time.
200 block Lewis St, 7/21 – 7/22 2:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person shattered
a window on her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1100 block Winchester St, 7/22 6:00 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown
person shattered a window on his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Target, 1180 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 7/22 10:30 p.m. – 7/23 6:00 a.m. A manager reported that an
unknown person smashed a front window on the building. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
ARRESTS:
Miles Gilbert, 48, of Fredericksburg was arrested for animal cruelty
