FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS

UPDATE TO ARMED ROBBERY:
Niko Ellis, 23, of no fixed address was arrested in Caroline County during the evening of September 16 for his involvement in the armed robbery that occurred in Fredericksburg on September 14. Ellis was served with over 40 warrants, with charges including robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and abduction. The investigation is ongoing.
700 block Amelia St, 9/17 6:00 p.m. A resident reported that a quantity of cash was stolen from his apartment. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
VRE Lot, 399 Prince Edward St, 9/17 7:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. Three commuters reported that an unknown person damaged windows on their vehicles in the lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Cung Val, 32, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI and driving while revoked – DUI related – after crashing into two parked cars and running from the scene of an accident in the 500 block of Hanover Street. The incident occurred at 1:25 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17.
Monti Veney, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
Herbert Johnson, 61, of no fixed address was arrested for trespassing at the Visitor Center
