FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2013
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY:
2000 block Fall Hill Ave, 10/31 9:50 p.m. A resident reported that he heard glass breaking at his
neighbor’s house and soon after saw a male subject walking away down the driveway of the
home. Police found a pane of glass broken out of the back door but it is unknown if entry was
gained to the building. The possible suspect was described as a white male in his late teens or
early 20s wearing dark clothing and a baseball cap. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
Castiglia’s, 324 William St, 10/28 12:00 p.m. A patron reported that her iPad was stolen while
she had lunch at the restaurant. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
Samson Motorcars, 1919 Princess Anne St, 10/30 – 10/31 3:00 p.m. The owner reported that an
unknown person stole a dealer tag from his desk. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Happy Endings, 1315 Princess Anne St, 11/1 2:00 a.m. A DJ reported that an unknown person
stole her cell phone while she was packing up her equipment. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
VANDALISM:
John Mills Roofing, 514 Wolfe St, 10/30 – 10/31 7:00 a.m. The owner reported that an unknown
person damaged the doors to his shop, in an apparent attempt to gain access to the building. No
suspects or witnesses at this time.
2000 block Idlewild Blvd, 10/27 – 10/28 6:30 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
damaged an exterior light on his home, apparently with BB shot. No suspects or witnesses at
this time.
ARRESTS:
Marcus Smith, 27, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana
