Fredericksburg Police Department Incident Reports

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2013
VEHICLE TAMPERING:
800 block Sylvania Ave, 11/7 4:50 a.m. A neighbor reported that two vehicles parked on the
street showed suspicious signs of criminal tampering. The investigating officer found one
vehicle with the center console open and items strewn across the seat. The second vehicle was
also found with its glove box and center console sitting open, and it appeared that the offender
had knocked the vehicle out of gear, causing it to roll into the curb and against the bumper of an
adjacent parked car. The investigation is ongoing.
VANDALISM:
VRE Lot, 399 Prince Edward St, 11/6 5:30 a.m. – 6:15 p.m. A commuter reported that an
unknown person shattered the windshield on his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
ARRESTS:
William Lee Ware, 34, of Tappahannock was arrested on warrants from Tappahannock charging
him with felony larceny.
Bobby Joe Dobbins, 34, of Woodford was arrested for public intoxication.
Troy Laing, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested for providing false identification to avoid arrest and
on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging him with failure to appear in court
