Fredericksburg Police Department Incident Reports

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2014
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT:
Relax Inn, 1904 Princess Anne St, 2/9 9:40 p.m. Police responded for reports of a fight and
found a 28-year-old man in one of the rooms who had been stabbed multiple times in the back
and also had a head injury. The victim was conscious and was transported by ambulance to
Mary Washington Hospital. The victim’s girlfriend reported that they were both inside a room
when her boyfriend heard a noise from outside and opened the door. When he opened the door,
the victim was immediately assaulted by a black male who had dreadlocks and was wearing a
black hoodie. The witness also saw a second black male standing close by watching. The victim
was able to get away from his assailant and get back inside the room. The two suspects had left
the scene prior to police arrival. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY:
Teppanyaki Grill, 2388 Plank Rd, 2/7 12:20 a.m. An employee reported that an unknown person
broke a window to gain access to the building and stole a quantity of cash from the register. The
investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
Harvey Allen DDS, 1701 Fall Hill Ave, 1/31 – 2/7 9:40 a.m. An employee reported that an
unknown person stole cash from the cash box. The investigation is ongoing.
Best Western, 3000 Plank Rd, 2/7 12:00 p.m. An employee reported that the television was
removed from a room and an unknown person damaged the door and jamb between that room
and the one next door. The investigation is ongoing.
100 block Hillcrest Dr, 2/7 12:30 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole a piece
of outgoing mail. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
600 block Denton Cir, 2/7 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. A resident reported that household and
electronic items were stolen from his home. The investigation is ongoing.
Subway, 2213 Plank Rd, 2/8 5:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. A customer reported that an unknown person
stole her purse and used her credit card to make purchases at different locations. The
investigation is ongoing.
Hillcrest Apartments, 100 block Hillcrest Dr, 2/8 – 2/9 10:45 a.m. A resident reported that an
unknown person broke a window on her vehicle and stole items from inside. The investigating
officer discovered two additional vehicles in the parking lot that suffered similar damage and
thefts and three more victim vehicles on Longstreet Avenue. The investigation is ongoing.
1900 block Woodlyn Dr, 2/8 – 2/9 9:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole
tools from a toolbox on his truck. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Regal Cinemas, 3301 Plank Rd, 2/9 2:00 p.m. A patron reported that an unknown person
smashed a window on his vehicle and stole his wife’s purse from inside. No suspects or
witnesses at this time.
Castiglias, 324 William St, 2/8 – 2/9 1:00 a.m. A patron reported that an unknown person stole
his jacket from a barstool inside the restaurant. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, 1009 Princess Anne St, 2/9 4:45 p.m. A customer reported that
an unknown person stole her wallet from her coat pocket while she was trying on a different
jacket. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
1000 block Sophia St, 2/2 – 2/7 10:50 a.m. The property owner reported that an unknown person
spray painted graffiti on two sides of the building. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
100 block Longstreet Ave, 2/8 4:45 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person spray
painted graffiti on his two vehicles and also on a wall bordering the neighborhood. No suspects
or witnesses at this time.
DUI ARRESTS:
Christopher Serafin, 31, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI after causing an accident in the
3000 block of Plank Road.
Dana Gilbert, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI in the 1200 block of Gateway
Boulevard.
Juan Perez Aguilar, 33, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI in the 200 block of Goldenleaf
Court.
Mustafa Ahmed, 23, of King George was arrested for DUI in the 400 block of Beverly Lane.
James Cutright, 29, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 1700 block of Jefferson Davis
Highway.
Kristopher Keiningham, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 300 block of Amaret
Street.
ARRESTS:
William Barrett, 28, of Fredericksburg was arrested for indecent exposure.
Emanuel Smith, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested for providing false information to law
enforcement to avoid arrest and shoplifting from Walmart.
Michael Brooks, 61, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication and on a warrant
from King George charging him with failure to appear in court.
Amber Bowman, 25, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Abdul-Rasheed Ahmed, 26, of King George was arrested for public intoxication.
John Berrios, 52, of Woodbridge was arrested for public intoxication.
