Fredericksburg Police Department Incident Reports

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2014 
 
ASSAULT: 
400 block William St, 2/22 12:20 a.m. A homeless man reported that he was assaulted and 
possibly stabbed by an unknown male on William Street. The 45-year-old victim was 
transported by ambulance to Mary Washington Hospital for treatment of a laceration to his knee. 
There is no description of the suspect at this time. The investigation is ongoing. 
LARCENY: 
300 block Maple Ct, 2/21 – 2/22 12:05 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole 
jewelry and a game system from her apartment. The investigation is ongoing. 
2000 block Woodlyn Dr, 2/21 – 2/22 8:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person 
broke a window on her vehicle and stole a quantity of cash from the glove box. No suspects or 
witnesses at this time. 
The Recreation Center, 213 William St, 2/22 10:30 p.m. A patron reported that an unknown 
person stole her cell phone. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 
Bourbon Room, 213 William St, 2/23 1:45 a.m. A deejay reported that an unknown person stole 
her laptop computer from a table inside the business. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 
Funland, 1351 Central Park Blvd, 2/23 2:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. A Spotsylvania resident reported 
that an unknown person broke a window on her vehicle and stole her purse from inside. No 
suspects or witnesses at this time. 
VANDALISM: 
Vivify, 314 William St, 2/20 – 2/21 1:15 p.m. The owner reported that an unknown person 
damaged the sign on the front of the building. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 
1300 block Seacobeck St, 2/22 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown 
person slashed three tires on his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 
DUI ARRESTS: 
700 block Kenmore Ave, 2/23 10:00 p.m. While an officer was traveling in the 1900 block of 
Princess Anne Street, a maroon Toyota drove by him in the opposite direction at a high rate of 
speed and without its headlights on. The officer turned his patrol car around and stopped the 
Toyota near the Hardee’s on Princess Anne Street, but the car pulled off again before the officer could approach the driver. The officer followed the Toyota for several blocks downtown and 
briefly lost sight of it until he found the vehicle crashed at the entrance to the Union Bank on 
Jackson Street. The driver was unresponsive and was transported from the scene by ambulance 
to Mary Washington Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Toyota was found to have 
been stolen from an address in Stafford County. Tommy George, 53, of Ruther Glen was 
arrested for DUI, possession of stolen property, felony eluding, driving on a revoked license, and 
reckless driving. George was also served with warrants from Stafford charging him with 
tampering with a vehicle and grand larceny. George was incarcerated at the Rappahannock 
Regional Jail under no bond.

Stephanie Johnson, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI in the 3300 block of Plank Road. 
ARRESTS: 
Heather Willams, 39, of Stafford was arrested for felony shoplifting from Kohls. 
Melissa Westbrooks, 29, of Chesterfield was arrested for shoplifting from Wegmans. 
Janiece Gomez, 20, of the Bronx, New York was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart. 
Daniel Wise, 23, of Swoope was arrested for public intoxication. 
Zachery Murray, 21, of Locust Grove was arrested for public intoxication. 
Anthony Monroe, 28, of no fixed address was arrested for domestic assault and battery. 
Latosha Watkins, 34, of Stafford was arrested on warrants from Spotsylvania charging her with 
distribution of cocaine and possession of dangerous drugs and on warrants from Stafford 
charging her with failure to pay child support. 
James Bell, 26, of Partlow was arrested for public intoxication. 
James Lynam, 32, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey was arrested for possession of marijuana. 
Hedar Ruiz-Gonzalez, 35, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery. 
Dante McLeod, 27, of Stafford was arrested for possession of marijuana. 
Julius Prem Awaes, 35, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
