Canal Path, 1400 block Kenmore Ave, 5/9 11:25 a.m. A resident reported that he was walking
his dog on the canal path when he saw a male subject wearing a dress and walking toward him
on the path. A short time later, the complainant saw the same man on the bridge near the pump
house at Cossey Pond and the subject was exposing himself. The complainant shouted at the
unknown man and the suspect left the scene in a silver pickup that was parked in the gravel lot
next to the pond. On Saturday, May 10, an officer patrolling on the path located a vehicle and
suspect matching the description provided by the complainant. After being contacted by police,
the complainant responded to the scene and positively identified the man who was detained as
the suspect from the previous day. Michael McLeese, 45, of Spotsylvania was arrested for
indecent exposure and released by the officer on his own recognizance.
600 block Maple Ct, 5/9 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
broke in to her apartment and stole electronics and other items of value. The investigation is
1001 Caroline St, 5/5 – 5/9 10:45 a.m. A vendor reported that an unknown person stole several
framed collectibles from his booth. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Toys R Us, 3101 Plank Rd, 5/9 4:00 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown person stole
his cell phone and wallet from the break room. The offender also used the victim’s credit cards
to make purchases at area stores. The investigation is ongoing.

Robin Mills, 28, of Mineral was arrested for urinating in public.
Darren Acors, 26, of Spotsylvania was arrested for felony hit and run.
Leslie Lavenuta, 45, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Orange County charging
her with abduction.
Donna Hower, 50, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery and
preventing a person from calling 911.
Juvenile female, 17, was arrested for felony hit and run.
Tyler Deavers, 19, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting.
Tamira Wilson, 32, of Spotsylvania was arrested for failure to appear in court.
Lamont Coles, 42, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a warrant from Caroline County charging him
with failure to appear in court.
Daniel Bunch, 36, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication.
Orlando Robinson, 29, of Bealeton was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Marilyn Brown, 57, of no fixed address was arrested for trespassing.
Rodrigo Caragoza-Lopez, 29, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
