Fredericksburg Police Department Incident Reports

MONDAY, APRIL 29, 2013
ASSAULT:
600 block Greenbrier Ct, 4/28 12:30 a.m. – 1:15 a.m. A 21-year-old resident reported that he
was tied up and assaulted by a male subject inside his apartment. The victim also reported that
the subject stole his cell phone. The victim required transport by ambulance to the hospital for
multiple injuries on his head but he was able to provide a description and the identity of the
suspect. A short time later, an officer saw a subject matching the description near the
intersection of College Avenue and William Street. When he spotted the officer, the subject
climbed over the perimeter fence and ran onto the campus of the University of Mary
Washington. A patrol K-9 from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist with
tracking the suspect, but he was not located.
At approximately 4:30 a.m. deputies with the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office responded to
a disturbance at the Econo Lodge on Jefferson Davis Highway and located the suspect. Dajuan
Chambers, 24, of no fixed address was arrested for malicious wounding, abduction, and robbery
for the incident at Greenbrier Apartments and he was also arrested on charges from Spotsylvania
County. Chambers was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond. The
investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
1800 block College Ave, 4/27 8:00 a.m. A neighbor reported that a street sign had been pulled
out of the ground. The sign pole was located in a yard nearby but the signs for College Avenue
and Seacobeck Street were missing. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
IHOP, 2831 Plank Rd, 4/28 5:25 p.m. A manager reported that four subjects walked out of the
restaurant without paying their bill. The investigation is ongoing.
Verizon, 1998 Plank Rd, 4/28 6:30 p.m. An employee reported that four male subjects stole
electronic items and damaged the display setup on their way out of the store. The four suspects
ran from the area headed in the direction of Huntington Hills. The investigation is ongoing.
VANDALISM:
200 block Summit St, 4/25 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. An officer discovered four overturned
gravestones in a cemetery located in a wooded area near the intersection with Myrick Street. No
suspects or witnesses at this time.
ARRESTS:
Arthur Washer, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for destruction of property for the series of
incidents that occurred downtown on April 26, 2013.
Victor Moreno, 35, of Stafford was arrested for larceny with intent to sell, shoplifting from
Home Depot, and conspiracy, and on a warrant from Manassas charging him with grand larceny.
Barbara Urbaniak, 52, of Stafford was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
Myles McCormick, 25, of Fredericksburg was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon,
possession of a firearm while subject to a protective order, violation of a protective order, and
possession of marijuana.
Leah Roth, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
Matthew Powell, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
Austin Brooks, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
Casey Dee, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
Clarence Shannon, 29, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland was arrested for public intoxication.
Warren Kishpaugh, 24, of no fixed address was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania
charging him with failure to appear in court.
Antonio Dunning, 35, of Tappahannock was arrested on a warrant from Essex County charging
him with failure to appear in court.
Wayne Payne, 50, of no fixed address was arrested for possession of alcohol after being
interdicted.
David Ritter, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.
Nicklaus Smith, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.
Vega Ramon, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Liana Burgoyne, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Guy Gentry, 34, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging him with
failure to appear in court on an underlying charge of possession of a controlled substance
