Fredericksburg Police Incident Reports - Monday, March 19, 2012

MONDAY, MARCH 19, 2012
SHOTS FIRED:
Aladins, 2052 Plank Rd, 3/18 2:00 am. Officers responded for a fight in the parking lot and
checked multiple subjects who were hanging around or in the process of leaving. Multiple
witnesses described a group of young men fist fighting in the lot, and one of the males
involved reportedly shot a handgun into the air as he was running from the scene. No injuries
were reported and the armed suspect had left the area prior to police arrival. The only
description provided of the suspect was that he was a black male wearing a white t-shirt and
jeans. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
Fredericksburg Baptist Church, 1016 Caroline St, 3/15 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm. A member
reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse while she was inside attending a service.
One of her credit cards was later used to make a purchase of beer at Nader’s Grocery. The
investigation is ongoing.
Golds Gym, 2380 Plank Rd, 3/15 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm. Two patrons reported that their wallets
and credit cards were stolen from their lockers and one patron reported that her purse was
stolen from her vehicle in the parking lot. The victims’ credit cards were all later used to make
purchases at the Target in Central Park. The investigation is ongoing.
Hunan Restaurant, 209 William St, 3/15 10:45 pm. The owner reported that she was preparing
to eat her dinner after closing the business and she stepped out of the dining room for a minute.
While out of the room, the victim heard the bell on the front door indicating the door was
opened, and when she returned to the table her plate of food was gone. No suspects or
witnesses at this time.
1100 block Austin Dr, 3/16 11:30 am. A resident reported that a package that had been
delivered by Federal Express was stolen from the front porch. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
1100 block Caroline St, 3/16 2:00 pm – 2:15 pm. A visitor reported that her purse was stolen
when she put it down on the ground to take a photograph. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
Brocks, 503 Sophia St, 3/17 1:50 am. A patron reported that her iPhone was stolen from her
table. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
3000 block Charles St, 3/16 – 3/17 12:00 pm. A resident reported that her vehicle was stolen
from the driveway. The vehicle is a 2004 blue Toyota Camry with Virginia license plates. The
investigation is ongoing.
400 block Hanson Ave, 3/16 – 3/17 4:00 pm. A resident reported that an unknown person
ransacked the inside of her vehicle and stole approximately $5 in loose change. No suspects or
witnesses at this time.
1400 block Caroline St, 3/17 7:00 pm – 3/18 12:00 pm. A resident reported that two folding
chairs were stolen from his front porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
CVS, 591 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 3/18 7:10 pm. An employee reported that her cell phone was
stolen after she accidentally left it in the restroom. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
F.W. Sullivan’s, 409 William St, 3/15 10:00 pm – 3/16 12:00 pm. A patron reported that his
vehicle was scratched and damaged in the parking lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
800 block Railroad Ave, 3/10 6:30 pm. An officer patrolling in the area found graffiti spray
painted on the Blue Grey Pkwy bridge foundation. The investigation is ongoing.
2500 block Van Buren St, 3/16 10:00 pm – 3/17 2:00 am. A resident reported that a window
was smashed on her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
200 block Farrell Ln, 3/18 5:30 pm – 3/19 12:30 am. A resident reported that her car door and
sunroof were scratched and damaged. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
906 Caroline St, 3/17 9:00 pm - 3/18 12:45 pm. A resident reported that subjects were on the
roof of her building causing a disturbance. The roof was checked and nobody was found, but
later it was discovered that three strands of wire had been cut, presumably by the offenders to
gain access to the roof. No known suspects at this time.
DUI ARRESTS:
Eric Santana, 23, of Stafford was arrested for DUI in the 1400 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy.
Daniel Cruz-Andino, 34, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI, refusal to submit to a blood
or breath test, and possession of schedule I,II narcotics in the 1800 block of Jefferson Davis
Hwy.
Asa Knox, 33, of Morningside, Maryland was arrested for DUI and refusal to submit to a blood
or breath test in the 200 block of Farrell Ln.
ARRESTS:
Norris Payne, 47, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance and
resisting arrest.
Jonathan Blas, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Rebecca Galyen, 27, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Elieser Velez, 29, of Stafford was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Javier Leiva-Pena, 43, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication and possession of
marijuana, and on a warrant from Stafford charging him with probation violation.
Joseph Gerdes, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol and
possession of marijuana.
John Bellows, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol and
possession of marijuana.
Randall Heard, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
Lincoln Dunn, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
Daniel Battista, 38, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging
him with felony bad check.
Kathleen Kutnak, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
Giana Imperiale, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
Matthew Masello, 18, of Spotsylvania was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
Brian Richard, 40, of no fixed address was arrested for drinking in public and littering.
Michael Roberts, 35, of Spotsylvania was arrested for drinking in public and littering.
Keven Fahy, 32, of Woodbridge was arrested for public intoxication.
Antonio Correia-de-meld, 48, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
Danny Cook, 27, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.
Robert Nelson, 29, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.
Seth Snider, 27, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication and possession of
marijuana.
Charles Webb, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication and underage
possession of alcohol.
Taylor Dailey, 20, of Vienna was arrested for public intoxication and underage possession of
alcohol.
Christopher Sefchick, 36, of Spotsylvania was arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest.
Christopher Richardson, 23, of Spotsylvania was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Sean Mackey, 21 of Troy, New York was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
