BURGLARY:
Lafayette Upper Elementary School, 3 Learning Ln, 6/11 – 6/12 (reported 6/18) A teacher
reported that her keys and ID badge were stolen from her desk. The investigation is ongoing.
Lafayette Upper Elementary School, 3 Learning Ln, 6/15 – 6/17 1:00 pm. The assistant
principal reported that two subjects entered the school and stole a laptop computer, cell phone,
and other smaller items of value. The suspects have been identified and charges are pending.
LARCENY:
1300 block Hanover St, 6/18 - 6/19 7:00 am. A resident reported that an unknown person
rummaged through the interior of her unlocked vehicle and stole an item of clothing. No
suspects or witnesses at this time.
1000 block Great Oaks Ln, 4/18 – 6/18 9:00 am. A resident reported that a package that had
been shipped through the U.S. Postal Service was stolen from the porch. No suspects or
witnesses at this time.
Riverside Park, 701 Sophia St, 6/17 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm. A visitor reported that her camera was
stolen from a bench in the park. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
College Station Post Office, 1285 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 6/15 – 6/18 5:40 pm. A Woodbridge
resident reported that a book of checks was stolen and an unknown person attempted to cash
one of the checks at a local business. The investigation is ongoing.
Gold’s Gym, 2380 Plank Rd, 6/18 5:00 pm – 6:10 pm. Two patrons reported that an unknown
person broke into their lockers and stole clothing and a wallet. One victim’s bag and some
clothes were later recovered in another area of the business. The investigation is ongoing.
ARRESTS:
Derrick Singletary, 29, of no fixed address was arrested for aggressive solicitation.
