FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2013
BOMB THREAT:
McDonalds, 1212 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 9/10 5:50 p.m. The E-911 Center received information
concerning a bomb threat at the business, and officers responded and evacuated all employees
and customers to a secure perimeter. A bomb detection dog from the Virginia State Police
searched the premises and no explosives were found. The investigation led to a room at the
nearby Thomas Jefferson Motel, where the offender was located and taken into custody.
Trae’von Smith, 18, of no fixed address was arrested for making a threat to bomb a building and
incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under a $1500 bond.
BURGLARY:
2600 block Cowan Blvd, 9/8 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. A resident reported that she returned home
and found her deadbolt unlocked and a purse stolen from her apartment. The investigation is
ongoing.
LARCENY:
Walmart, 1800 Carl D silver Pkwy, 9/9 7:20 p.m. A patron reported that an unknown person
stole his wallet after he accidentally left it in a chair in the game room. No suspects or witnesses
at this time.
Mary Washington Hospital, 1001 Sam Perry Blvd, 9/10 12:00 p.m. A visitor reported that an
unknown person stole her cell phone after she accidentally left it inside a restroom. No suspects
or witnesses at this time.
Wegmans, 2281 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 9/10 3:00 p.m. A shopper reported that an unknown person
stole her wallet from her purse while she was inside the store. The victim’s credit card was later
used to make purchases at another area store. The investigation is ongoing.
700 block Lee Ave, 9/4 -9/10 4:30 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole a
package that had been delivered to his mailbox on the front porch. The investigation is ongoing.
AT&T, 1601 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 9/10 4:30 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown person
stole a cell phone from the display area. The investigation is ongoing.
600 block William St, 9/10 5:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. An employee of a downtown business
reported that an unknown person broke a window on his vehicle and stole his cell phone from
inside. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
ARRESTS:
Lenetta Gilbert, 45, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication and possession of
alcohol after being interdicted.
Jasmine Robinson, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a city warrant for burglary, on a
warrant from Stafford charging her with failure to appear in court, and on warrants from
Spotsylvania charging her with assault and battery and failure to appear in court.
Leslie Camp, 35, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Javonna Camp, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana and on a warrant
from Stafford charging her with assault and battery.
