Fredericksburg Police Incident Reports

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16, 2013
BURGLARY:
1100 block Townsend Blvd, 1/15 4:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. A resident reported that he returned
home to find his apartment door pried open and items of value stolen from different rooms
inside. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
800 block Marye St, 1/13 – 1/15 7:00 a.m. A total of seven victims reported that an unknown
person entered their unlocked vehicles and rummaged through the contents of glove boxes and
consoles. Items of value were stolen from several of the vehicles. The investigation is ongoing.
Wellington Woods, 1704 Lafayette Blvd, 1/14 – 1/15 8:20 a.m. A maintenance supervisor
reported that an unknown person broke into the coin changer in the laundry room and stole an
undetermined amount of money. The investigation is ongoing.
300 block Hawke St, 12/23 – 1/8 12:00 p.m. A resident reported that an item of jewelry was
stolen from her room. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
200 block Germania St, 1/14 – 1/15 11:00 a.m. A resident reported that the stereo system was
stolen from her unlocked vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1500 block Lafayette Blvd, 1/14 – 1/15 1:20 p.m. A resident reported that his laptop computer
was stolen from his apartment. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
1200 block Townsend Blvd, 1/14 – 1/15 7:30 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person
scratched and damaged his vehicle in the parking lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
FRAUD:
Game Stop, 1667 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 1/14 – 1/15 1:30 p.m. A Norfolk resident reported that an
unknown person used his credit card information to make a purchase at Game Stop, even though
the card never left his possession. The investigation is ongoing.
ARRESTS:
German Perez Diaz, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for consuming an alcoholic beverage
while driving.
Chad Helker, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and
shoplifting from Walmart.
Juvenile male, 17, was arrested for underage possession of alcohol and shoplifting from
Walmart.
Blake Bailey, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana
