600 block Denton Cir, 1/28 7:00 p.m. A resident reported that he was on the second floor of his
home when he heard the sound of the back door closing. When the victim went downstairs, he
discovered that his laptop computer and a firearm had been stolen from the living room. The
victim further reported that he saw a male subject running away from the residence with the
items in his hands. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a blue hoodie and jeans.
The investigation is ongoing.
Hard Times Café, 314 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 1/28 8:00 p.m. A patron reported that he offered a
ride home from the restaurant to two friends of a friend. When the unknown male subjects got
into the victim’s truck, one of them grabbed the victim’s wallet from the dash and then both took
off running up Princess Anne Street. The victim chased the suspects on foot for a few blocks but
was unable to catch up to them. The two males were described as both white, and the one who
stole the wallet was approximately 5’6” and 130 pounds and wearing a white shirt. The
investigating officer also discovered that the victim was wanted on an outstanding warrant from
Caroline County. William Shelton, 39, of Fredericksburg was arrested for failure to obey a court
order and incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under a $5000 bond.
Kenmore Club, 632 Kenmore Ave, 1/25 – 1/26 8:00 a.m. An employee reported that an
unknown person marked graffiti on an exterior side door. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Party City, 1280 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 1/27 – 1/28 9:00 a.m. An employee reported that an
unknown person marked graffiti on a portable storage unit at the rear of the building. No
suspects or witnesses at this time.
Pedro Garcia-Ortiz, 43, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
Jalisa Diaz, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Stafford County charging her
with disorderly conduct.
