Fredericksburg Police Incident Reports

ROBBERY:
PetSmart, 1421 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 5/28 12:30 pm. A customer reported that she was robbed
in the parking lot by a male subject who brandished a handgun. The 42-year-old Locust Grove
resident reported that she had just exited her vehicle when a male subject approached her and
demanded that she hand over her money. When the victim refused, the suspect punched her in
the stomach and pulled a handgun out of his pants. The victim reported that she removed the
cash from her wallet and handed it to the suspect, who ran from the scene in the direction of
Carl D Silver Parkway and Central Park Boulevard. The suspect is described as a white male
in his early 20’s with brown hair, approximately 6’ and 160 pounds, and wearing a white Tshirt
and jeans. The investigation is ongoing.
 
 
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT:
Otter House, 1005 Princess Anne St, 5/26 2:30 am. Police responded to reports of a male
subject who was injured and lying in the road in front of the business. A female reported that
she was sitting in her vehicle waiting to pick up her boyfriend at the Otter House when an
unknown male subject opened her passenger door and got in her car. The male subject
demanded that she give him a ride home. The female got out of the car and asked for help
from others who were hanging around outside the business and she also called and texted her
boyfriend who was still inside. When the boyfriend, who works as a bouncer, ran out to the
street, the male subject had gotten out of the car and was standing near the open passenger
door. The boyfriend grabbed the male subject and took him to the ground, causing a head
injury and also a laceration to the man’s elbow. The boyfriend then left the scene with his
girlfriend, but he returned when police arrived and rescue personnel were treating the injured
man. Brandon Boyd, 21, of King George was arrested for malicious wounding and
incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond. The injured man, a 35-yearold
Spotsylvania resident and regular customer of the Otter House, was transported to Mary
Washington Hospital and remained there until Monday for treatment of his injuries. The
investigation is ongoing.
Paul’s Bakery, 2008 Lafayette Blvd, 5/26 3:00 am. A 45-year-old Fredericksburg resident
reported that he was assaulted by three men for no apparent reason. The victim stated that he
was hanging around outside of Paul’s Bakery with three other males when the three attacked
him and knocked him to the ground. The men continued to kick and punch him on the ground
until he passed out. The victim called 911 when he regained consciousness; he was transported
by ambulance to Mary Washington Hospital with head and facial injuries and possible internal
trauma. The investigation is ongoing.
 
 
INDECENT EXPOSURE:
1600 block Washington Ave, 5/26 6:00 pm. An Alexandria resident reported that a male
subject exposed himself to her while she was walking alone on the canal path at the
intersection with Washington Avenue. The suspect was described as a black male in his early
20’s, approximately 5’10” and 180 pounds, with his hair styled in twists. He was wearing a
white shirt with black sleeves, jeans, and white tennis shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
 
 
PEEPING TOM:
1700 block Augustine Ave, 5/19 and 5/26 11:15 pm. A resident reported that she saw a male
subject looking into the windows of her home. On the first occasion, a guest at the home went
outside to confront the male and the suspect walked away claiming to be a neighbor. On the
second occasion, the suspect was shining a flashlight into the window and he ran away through
the back yard after the victim stepped out of the house to challenge him. The suspect is
described as a white male in his late 30’s with short dark hair. The investigation is ongoing.
 
 
LARCENY:
Central Rappahannock Regional Library, 1201 Caroline St, 5/25 10:30 am – 11:15 am. A
librarian reported that her purse was stolen from her desk. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
2300 block Cowan Blvd, 5/25 5:30 pm. A resident reported that her son’s bicycle was stolen
from in front of their apartment building. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
3300 block Fall Hill Ave, 5/26 11:00 am – 12:15 pm. A Stafford resident reported that a
window on his vehicle was broken and two wallets and a cell phone were stolen from inside
while he was walking on the canal path. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
3300 block Fall Hill Ave, 5/28 10:00 am – 10:30 am. Two Spotsylvania residents reported that
windows were broken on each of their vehicles and items of value were stolen from inside
while they were walking on the canal path. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
HH Gregg, 1731 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 5/27 1:20 pm - 3:20 pm. A customer reported that his
cell phone was stolen after he inadvertently left it in the restroom. No suspects or witnesses at
this time.
7-11, 3333 Fall Hill Ave, 5/27 6:00 pm. A customer reported that his keys and cell phone were
stolen after he inadvertently left them on the cashier’s counter. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
Dixon Park Pool, 1300 Dixon St, 5/27 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm. A resident reported that her son’s
bicycle was stolen from the rack outside the pool. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
 
 
DUI ARRESTS:
Michael Coleman, 56, of Stafford was arrested for DUI and urinating in public in the 2000
block of Augustine Avenue.
Brandon McBeath, 27, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI and hit and run in the 1800 block
of William Street.
Dustin Pare, 28, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI and refusal to submit to a blood or
breath test in the 200 block of William Street.
ARRESTS:
Oliver Oberly, 28, of no fixed address was arrested for assault on law enforcement, obstruction
of justice, resisting arrest, and destruction of property.
Windy Lou Rogers, 35, of no fixed address was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania
charging her with failure to appear in court.
Taurean Hansley, 30, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana and failure to
appear in court.
Dalontae Lewis, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Giant.
Kirastin Cole, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Giant.
Anthony Pierce, 52, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging
him with receiving stolen property.
Megan Shockley, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Tawana Blanks, 38, of Woodbridge was arrested on a warrant from Prince William County
charging her with failure to appear in court.
Stephanie Laconia, 19, of Locust Grove was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Parker Gay, 59, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
Tammy Benavidez, 45, of King George was arrested for public intoxication.
Michael Lease, 56, of no fixed address was arrested for aggressive solicitation.
Jesus Molina Rosales, 44, of Richmond was arrested for operating without a business license.
Juvenile female, 16, was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Michael Barnett, 56, of no fixed address was arrested for possession of alcohol on City
property.
Melvin Nines, 47, of no fixed address was arrested for aggressive solicitation.
Stephen Meadows, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication and possession of
marijuana.
Jonathan Martin, 22, of Woodford was arrested for public intoxication.
Kevin Raley, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol,
possession of marijuana, and possession of fake identification.
John Humphrey, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for underage possession of alcohol and
possession of marijuana.
Brenna Pare, 24, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication.
John Schoenecker, 41, of Woodbridge was arrested for public intoxication.
William Powell, 43, of Comer, Georgia was arrested for public intoxication.
Devyn Jilson, 19, of Stafford was arrested for possession of synthetic cannabinoid.
