Fredericksburg Police Incident Reports

FRIDAY, JUNE 1, 2012
 
 
BURGLARY:
Schooler House Bed and Breakfast, 1303 Caroline St, 5/30 – 5/31 6:15 pm. The owner
reported that she found a window open and her laptop computer stolen. The police investigator
found pry marks around the window frame and other evidence indicating that entry had been
gained to the house. The investigation is ongoing.
 
 
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY:
Ground Keepers, 1515 Olde William St, 5/30 – 5/31 11:15 am. The owner reported that caulk
was removed from the edge of a window and the window was broken in an apparent attempt to
detach the window from the frame. The investigation is ongoing.
 
 
LARCENY:
800 block Moncure St, 5/29 – 5/31 7:45 pm. A resident reported that six solar powered yard
lights were stolen from the front yard. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
 
 
VANDALISM:
Hall’s Vacuum, 2095 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 5/30 – 5/31 8:16 am. A neighboring business
owner reported that the front door glass was shattered. No apparent entry was made to the
building. The investigation is ongoing.
3200 block Fall Hill Ave, 5/31 4:40 pm. The owner of Virginia Outdoor Center reported that
graffiti was found spray painted on multiple historic monuments along the river trail. No
suspects or witnesses at this time.
 
 
VEHICLE TAMPERING:
Herlong and Associates, 1009 Prince Edward St, 5/29 – 5/30 7:15 am. An employee reported
that an empty purse which belongs to her and had been inside her vehicle was returned by a
neighbor who found it a few doors down the street. The victim then checked her vehicle and
realized that an unknown person had entered the unsecured car and rummaged through the
interior. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
 
 
ARRESTS:
David Anderson, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery and
preventing another person from calling 911.
Todd Smith, 29, of Colonial Beach was arrested for public intoxication, possession of false
identification, use of false identification to avoid arrest, and perjury.
Luke Bressan, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
Delano Johnson, 26, of no fixed address was arrested for distribution of cocaine.
Daniel McIntosh, 38, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.
Maaz Ahmad, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery and
abuse/neglect of a child.
