Fredericksburg Police Incident Reports

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6, 2012 
 
 
UPDATE TO ROBBERY: 
It has been determined that the robbery that was reported at the Petsmart on May 28 did not occur. The investigation is ongoing regarding possible charges against the reporting party. 
 
 
BURGLARY: 
Medicorps Medical Building, 2216 Princess Anne St, 6/4 - 6/5 7:00 am. Office managers reported that cash was stolen from three different locked offices inside the building. There were no signs of forced entry to any of the suites. The investigation is ongoing. 
 
 
LARCENY: 
3300 block Fall Hill Ave, 6/5 9:55 am - 10:45 am. A resident reported that the window on her vehicle was shattered and her wallet and cell phone were stolen from inside the car. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 
***There have been several reports of thefts from vehicles and vandalisms in the past few weeks at the above parking lot, which is located adjacent to the canal path on Fall Hill Avenue and across from the Virginia Outdoor Center. Users of the path are urged not to leave any valuables inside your cars!!*** 
BP Gas, 1901 Princess Anne St, 6/5 5:00 am - 6:00 am. The owner reported that an unknown person broke the back window out of a motor home and stole the portable generator from inside the vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 
Dollar Tree, 3061 Plank Rd, 6/5 4:30 pm. A Spotsylvania resident reported that her wallet was stolen from her shopping cart while she was loading items into her car. One of the victim's credit cards was later used to make purchases at an area store. The investigation is ongoing. 
Chipotle, 3051 Plank Rd, 6/5 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm. A Spotsylvania resident reported that his iPad was stolen from his unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 
 
 
VANDALISM: 
1000 block Kensington Cir, 6/4 - 6/5 9:00 am. A homeowner reported that an unknown person damaged the swing set in the back yard. No suspects or witnesses at this time. 
 
 
ARRESTS: 
Michael McKinney, 43, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication. 
Martinez Wright, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
