Fredericksburg Police Incident Reports

MONDAY, AUGUST 13, 2012
ATEMPTED ABDUCTION:
1700 block Highland Rd, 8/11 8:00 am. A 22-year-old female reported that she was the victim
of an attempted abduction. The victim was jogging on Westmont Drive near Highland Road in
the neighborhood around Oak Hill cemetery when she was approached by a male in a vehicle
who stopped and asked her a question. The victim could not understand what the male was
saying and she stepped next to the vehicle. The suspect opened the passenger side door and
grabbed the victim, partially pulling her inside the car.
The victim was able to get free and she ran from the scene. She was not injured.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his 50's with a stocky build, dark skin, short
dark hair, and an unshaven face. The victim stated that his fingernails were dirty and he had bad
teeth; he also spoke limited and heavily accented English. He was driving an older white car
with four doors and red cloth interior. The suspect was last seen on Highland Road.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this case should contact Detective

ASSAULT:
100 block Farrell Ln, 8/12 1:50 am. Two 19-year-old males reported that they were sitting on
the hood of a car owned by the mother of one of them when they were assaulted by a group of
three men who walked up and started punching them for no reason. The victims further reported
that after they fled from the assailants, the three suspects then damaged the car, shattering the
windshield and severely denting the hood. The suspects were described as black males in their
teens and they were all wearing basketball shorts. No known suspects at this time.
LARCENY:
7-Eleven, 1240 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 8/10 2:45 pm – 4:00 pm. A resident reported that his debit
card was stolen after he made a purchase at the store. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Home Depot, 1201 Gateway Blvd, 8/11 10:20 am. An employee reported that two inventory
management devices were stolen from the store. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
100 block Wellington Lakes Dr, 8/10 8:45 pm. A resident reported that an unknown person
released the contents of the fire extinguisher into a stairwell. No suspects or witnesses at this
time.
DUI ARRESTS:
Joshua Salerno, 29, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI, eluding, and resisting arrest in the
1300 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.
Juan Arrieta Gonzalez, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested for DUI and refusal to submit to a
blood or breath test in the 3400 block of Fall Hill Avenue.
James Cashwell, of Suitland, Maryland was arrested for DUI in the 200 block of Wolfe Street.
2200 block Lafayette Blvd, 8/12 1:00 am. Officers responded to a single vehicle accident and
found the driver of a gray Buick Regal with significant injuries to his face from impacting the
windshield. The driver was transported by ambulance to Mary Washington Hospital for
treatment. A warrant was obtained charging the driver, Sean Holland, 30, of Spotsylvania with
felony DUI. Holland had not been arrested by the time of this report.
ARRESTS:
Alhaji Tonkara, 31, of Stafford was arrested for trespassing.
Robert Fauntleroy, 46, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication and on a warrant
from Essex County charging him with failure to appear in court.
Aaron Wallace, 19, of Stafford was arrested for possession of alcohol on the riverbank.
Korrie Hairfield, 18, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Target.
Dean Plummer, 40, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
Paul Smith, 59, of Falls Church was arrested on a warrant from Alexandria charging him with
probation violation.
David Ruffner, 36, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
William Brown, 59, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.
James Coleman, 41, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
Lamonz Johnson, 31, of Locust Grove was arrested on warrants from Orange County charging
him with possession of schedule I,II narcotics, felony eluding, destruction of property, and
various traffic offenses.
Dominick Vazquez, 26, of Stafford was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Randi Hall, 26, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Rachael Powell, 25, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
William Shelton, 38, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
