Fredericksburg police are investigating two incidents in which men were attacked or robbed by armed assailants.
The latest happens early Thursday in the parking lot behind Brock's on Sophia Street. A City Police Spokeswoman says a 27 year old employee was attacked from behind and the suspect demanded money. A fight started and the victim was cut with a knife before the man ran away. Police found the knife and the victim's wallet.
A second man was attacked in the parking lot of Mill Park Terrace on Caroline Street.
The first suspect is described as white, 35 to 45 years old, 6 feet tall and over 200 pounds. He had shoulder-length grayish hair and was wearing light blue jeans, a black T-shirt and a black ball cap. Both suspects in the second case are described as white men, wearing black hoodies with masks covering most of their faces.
