Fredericksburg's July 4th Raft Race Postponed

by Deirdre Blake posted Jul 2 2013 3:03PM
One of the popular events in Fredericksburg this Fourth of July will not take place as planned.
As part of Heritage Day festival downtown, the July 4th Jaycees Rappahannock River Raft Race is being postponed. Unsafe river conditions are being cited as the reason. The popular event usually draws lots of participants and attendees, but will now be held on Saturday July 20th at 11:30 a.m. at the Falmouth Waterfront Park.
