The Caroline County Sheriff's Office is offering local parents a way to keep their kids safe on-line.
A grant is helping it give away free copies of the ComputerCOP Parental Internet Monitoring Software. Once inserted into the drive, ComputerCOP instantly scans for suspect images and text, drawing on a database of red flag words and photos. It can also scan recently deleted files. The 500 disks are at the sheriff's office on a first come first served basis.
