Adjusting to civilian life from the military can be tough for many in this region.
Combat stress could even lead to alcohol or drug abuse, domestic violence and other problems. A free program by the Virginia Wounded Warrior Program helps anonymously, on-line. FamilyofHeroes.com is interactive training that helps with critical communication skills to adjust to post-deployment. It also talks about PTSD and tips to get help.
