Greenlaw Wins Mayor Race

Fredericksburg's next mayor is Mary Catharine Greenlaw.
Voter turnout was light, but Greenlaw easily defeated two other candidates in Tuesday’s election. Greenlaw won with over 51% of the vote.
City Councilman Fred Howe comes in second with over 34% of the vote.
Matt Paxson is third with about 14% of the vote.
Greenlaw carried five of the city's districts.
Howe took District 3, Precinct 1 with 44.97% to Greenlaw’s 44.32%
