Help Needed to Find Suspect in a Fatal La Plata Shooting

The Charles County Sheriff's Office is looking for more information on the person involved in the fatal shooting of 32 year old Martin Hawkins of La Plata back in April. Authorities say it happened on April 18th in the 200 block of Kent Avenue.
Since the shooting, detectives have conducted extensive neighborhood canvasses and numerous people have called, but investigators need more information. In an effort to get additional tips, the CCSO is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment of the suspect or suspects. Charles County Crime Solvers is also offering an additional reward of up to $1,000.
