A 21 year old man from Oakton is charged with reckless driving; destruction of property under $1,000; pedestrian on the interstate and interfering with passing vehicles on a highway.
It stems from a reported two vehicle crash on I-66 west Monday night. A witness tells State Police that Corbin Shannon jumped out of his wrecked car, ran into lanes of traffic and threw himslef onto four vehicles. One windshield was smashed and the others were not damaged. Tests at Fairfax Inova Hospital ruled out alcohol or illegal drugs as a factor in Shannon's crash or following incident. Lanes of westboung I-66 were closed for about 30 minutes.
