I-95 Accident Injures Three, Causes Morning Backup

An accident involving a car and a tractor-trailer on northbound Interstate 95 in Virginia's Stafford County is lead to major traffic delays during the morning commute.
 
Authorities say appears that the driver was in the left lane when he suddenly swerved off to the right, overcorrecting came back to the center lane striking a tractor trailer around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. The trailer jackknifed and spilled 150 gallons of diesel fuel. A hazardous materials team was called in to clean up the highway. 
 
All lanes of traffic were open as of 6 a.m. Wednesday.
 
Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller said in a statement that 24-year-old Ahmed Mohammed of Falls Church was cited for reckless driving. Mohammed and two passengers, a 23-year-old female and 20-year-old male, were taken to the hospital.  
 
The tractor trailer driver as not injured.
